I've had a crisis. Sparks. Yes, I'm becoming THAT person.
No kidding, I haven't found a spark for 2 months. (Buying doesn't count) I do FSC, arcade, EVERYTHING. SK can't hate me that much. Since fps lag is a serious problem I have, when I die, I have nothing to revive myself with. This is a real problem for me, and the price on the supply depot for sparks seems inappropriate for its drop rate.
While I'm ranting, why is gay censored in SK now? Gay is not a bad word. Its meaning went through a perversion to mean homosexual, but even then it isn't a bad word. I'm pretty sure if a gay person playing SK would be offended if they saw it.
I thought I would never do this but...

That word is censored because it is sometimes used as an insult. Yes, the fact that the insulter regards the word as an insult is itself offensive. Yes, this may prohibit some sincere, meaningful discussions of personal identity and related issues. But probably not many.

The greatest tragedy of the whole thing? We can't sing "Deck the Halls".
As for sparks, just keep runnin' some stuff you can handle on elite that's solo, so you aren't even remotely obligated to spend anything (unless a DFS drops after you die, but... how likely is that?). Look for those treasure vaults- any chance you can get is good.

Sort of relevant, but why is "wix" censored.
Tried this with the word Twix, the candy, and it's censored. It's quite hilarious to go around typing things with it with the censor on, but still. Anyone?

First off dibsville and skeptic raven i really i mean... REALLY want to yell in your ears. Not to be rude or anything but seing on how many sparks and how rich you both are just makes me angry... Really really angry like angry enough to wish that there are more grateful people in this world

Anyways, I think it would be fair to bring the price for sparks down to 150 or something no?
And regardless of it being used at an insult, it should not be censored. Censorship is pretty useless in the first place. You know what they say, and it kinda makes things look more aggressive.

Low isn't something I know anymore
For whatever reason Sparks of Life just love to sit around in my inventory collecting dust.
And for those of you out there who don't want to math, that's 865 total. The unbound sparks are from every time I've bought one of the special energy packs as I haven't bought any from the supply depot. The reason for the odd number of sparks is because I'll trade some over to Ceecee via Steam whenever they don't want to revive themselves with their spark reserve and I'm not in that party.
I have some strong feelings on the secondary topic of this thread but I really don't want to go into the deep end of my mind right now.

Lack of Sparks?
I hear that if someone runs through elite mode Arcade in Tier 1 they can gather just as many sparks as they would in elite mode Tier 3. You may want to try that. It should be a lot less likely to kill you and if the drops haven't changed, you can probably get a few sparks.

I hear that too, in fact I've been saying that for months.
If you want safe crown farming, do T1 mission that occur on stratum 2 (an even stratum).
I got 3 orbs and 7kcrn doing Emerald Pawn's T1 run because there are 3 arenas yesterday (slightly above average orbs that run) all in about 30 minutes.
Take that FSC farmers.

I wasn't getting sparks either, until I actually used some. Although that's probably just coincidence and wouldn't help you anyway.
I'd rather do T2 arena farming when it's available though, since elite orbs are always nice to get. Those are worth more than the arena payout anyway, if you don't have to buy them.

There is a gate in the arcade that has a good number of arenas. I would suggest looking for sparks there. That's what I've been doing.

I'm right there with you
I once was not too far from 100 Sparks, but then we had Apocrea...and Grinchlin Assault...and the Tortodrones. I am now down to a grand total of 7, and that's actually higher than my record low. I've made a gripe thread about it before, but either I'm on an all-time unlucky streak, or else the drop rates have been so severely nerfed that they're below the point of sustainability. I mean, I find more Eternal Orbs at this point than I do Sparks...that's no exaggeration either, that actually happens. And I generally don't die at the drop of a hat, so I shudder to think about what less-skilled players are going through. Meanwhile you have the people who've posted in here who managed to acquire small fortunes because (I'd assume) of playing a great deal when the drop rates are much more generous, but they're completely bound, so it does neither of us any good.
And before anyone asks, yes, I do everything I can to maximize my drops. I run Danger Missions on Elite almost every day (which has proven to be more of a sink than a source). I go out of my way to wait for Arenas, and to run gates with more favorable levels. Hell, I've taken advantage of the triple-arena lineup on Tier 1 the current Emerald Pawn gate, and guess what two runs of that got me? THREE Alchemy Orbs (including a Flawed...you wanna talk about useless?), and not a single Spark. Oh, and that was with hitting the Treasure Vault each time. I'm beyond fed up at this point.
