I was kicked out of the other discord channel for valid reasons and told to grow up. Since I'm basically Peter Pan I made my own discord channel, which is fairly empty, but hey, maybe Petater will come on. They didn't like Petater either. I'd love to hang out with Petater more. I think he's an excellent person. I made it slime casino themed because I think that's fitting and hilarious.

Oh, and if I have extra resources I'll probably do some energy or other give-aways in the future on it. I'll just pop in, see who is talking, and give something to whoever wrote the last message, provided that message was within half an hour of when I log on; i.e. the chat isn't dead.

I'd prefer a real actual IRC channel. Discord tends to spinloop an entire CPU core and camp on 1 gig of RAM, as the app provided is secretly a separate copy of google chrome (So browsing the web and opening discord can make you run two unrelated copies of google chrome). Meanwhile IRC can run on a commodore 64. Wasn't a fan of Discord trying to datamine user times and IPs to sell to advertising partners either, while mailing retention emails.

Probably freenode/efnet for IRC.

For people who don't want to run a dedicated IRC app can download the chatzilla addon for Firefox:

At least that runs with the browser rather than requiring its own copy of the browser...

I like discord because of how easy it is for people to use. If there is interest in an IRC I'll go with that instead though.

I don't have a working mic but I will still consider joining. I really find it hard to arrange T1 and T2 LD matches and discord might make it a bit easier. :)

Yea that's fine I doubt anyone will use a mic much. There is a channel for that if people really want it though that's mostly because I can't just turn it off.
