While this is more vent than anything, I wonder why it isn't so. It would be a lot less heart wrenching if I knew when the bid's going to end.

Lemme put it to ya straight.
Auction sniping.
Person A will wait for the last few seconds on an auction before it ends, then bid. Chances are, there will be a little more time added. Regardless, Person A has just sniped the auction.
Later, when everyone catches on, Person A will bid at the last few seconds, as well as person B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N you get what I mean.
Slightly more ACCURATE names for intervals wouldn't hurt (someone suggested it before, but the thread itself escapes me), but having precise timing would definitely not be good.

I know, i read from the other thread which i do not want to risk necro bumping.
And yes more accurate self updating intervals is very much welcome. And I did imagined the sniping, but didnt really give it much thought.
