What if there was a mission or something that featured the 'future' of haven and cradle's stability?
"Spiral HQ has found an uncommon elevator which destination leads to somewhere in a later time. It is believed to lead to a time where the core happens to be opened. The elevator has only been taken by a few knights. Whilst Spiral HQ can confirm there is a way back, they were never heard from before. It is up to you to find out what has happened, and explore what's around there."
(It'd start at a basic clockworks level, acting kind of dangerous. When you reach the elevator and enter it. It jumps up and disappears in a shock.)
Not neccessary, but I'd guess a fitting start.
Then you reach Haven, thorn apart by monsters. As well as the bazaar, garrison, arcade and the last findable guild hall are broken and filled with monsters. However, only those that took the elevator to this time are to be found dead on the ground. There is no other knight around.
Inside of this final guild hall. There lies an elevator that reaches the core's terminal. But it'd be hard to reach as this guild hall is full of monster traps. It's a big obstacle course.
(what happens between the guild hall and the core's terminal, perhaps a depth or two also thorn apart)
Once you reach the elevator and get to the entrance of the core, you'll notice the terminal is much longer and surrounded by "hacked" particles. The final button brings out a wave of strong monsters and a boss fight. What kind of boss fight, I am not sure about that.
The elevator to the core will then be reachable. And once you take it and expect it to go down. It stops and leads you back to the present time. Some sort of cliffhanger!
What do you think?
so its like time travl space continuum thing. coolio.
Doesnt effect the story line as it leads us to paralleled dimension. Easily achievable with Gremlin tech xD
But would it be a mission? (not very likely) or an expansion or key gate?
