Since we had a good reception on our record record thread, The Almighty Pony god CONTRI and The Noobs Rider Feller, decided to throw a new tournament without entry fee and with a sustancial prize.
Rules and How do you enter this tournament :
Match rules.
No AT (We wan you to use your brain and bare hands kid)
Everymatch will be recorded by the player itself (see the bottom of this thread for the best record software)
Show AT off and the AIMBOT key unbinded
The winner MUST upload the video, or will be eternal banned of our events.
Video must have a decent quality (The battles must be fluid and enjoyable).

Prizes

First place gets 500k, besides the fame and glory of being one of the Champs of NO-AT Lockdown, along with Cano, Bacon and uncle Feller.
Second Place, Monster Pocket or Sprinkle Aura
Third, The accesorie the second place diminish
How do you enter our tournament?
Quite simple, the players that already have a place in our Record thread automatically are IN our tournament :

If you don't have a record, because you're too noob or because you simply can't fight without aimbot or Rez Generator BUT you wanna change that and prove the world you worth a little more than pidgeon crap, then all you have to do is this :
Break one of the records on the Record thread (Even the smallest one) and you will earn a place in the REAL PLAYERS TOURNAMENT.
We need at least 16 players, so start earn your place kid.

Announcement:

Record thread and tournament thread will be in hold, since our benefactor Feller (the one who pay the prizes) got permanent baned from SK, he's appealing, but we never know.

Why? Simply, a bunch of people of some guild start poke him in group expecting his reaction, and then reported him as a group.

As soon as we have news, we will see if we continue with LD events or if OOO will force Feller to retire.

Well considering you robbed 20k from me from your last tournament which I entered last year and still never got to participate in due to your (Contri) inactivity as well as my opponent's, I think this is the least you can do. I'll post a stupid video of myself farming damage like a noob later when i get my upgraded RAM stick.

Edit: Welp nvm, apparently RAM doesn't do anything for helping to record. And since my video card is soldered to the motherboard, i'd have to buy a new computer so uh... screw dis tournament

That sounds a bit wrong, unless you mean quite literally. Motherboards usually have integrated graphics cards but it doesn't mean they're the only option for such motherboards as one can put a dedicated card on it.

You're making a LD tournament restricted to....

1:People who can actually fight without AT (we're not all perfect, so stop categorizing people who need help aiming differently)
2:People who don't lag to death with a recording device
3:People who can download a recording device
4:People who can upload videos
5:People who can upload videos in good quality
6:People who can upload videos in good quality, and can swallow their pride to upload a vid of them losing.

You just listed about 0.00000000000000000000000000000000174% of the LD community here.

Let them fight how they wanna fight, and if you can't be there to run/record a tournament you made, don't host one.

Anyway,
Yes to almost everything you just posted, except for the low percentage number. If AT works for you, then your ping is good enough that you can do what everyone else in this tournament has done. If your PC is garbage, upgrade. Sometimes you just need to tell yourself "hey, i can't run a freaken JAVA GAME!!!! i think it's time to get a new PC."
I'm pretty sure the videos are for proof of no AT, not laziness.

With a decent payout and no entry fee, this is a pretty awesome thing for the LD community. No need to gripe and bash someone who's stepping up and offering something to the competitive crowd to help hold interest in the game in between updates.

But whatevs, try not to derail the thread to another AT rage debate if you can help it

you can use quicktime player or podcast capture on a mac to record. However, unless you have a mac desktop or a 18" (or is it 17?) macbook pro, your FPS is bound to drop.
