What to do when the game kicks you out for no reason?

Right now I feel like [REDACTED]. After spending the last 2 hours trying to get to Vanaduke, the game decided to be a [REDACTED] and closed with no warning at the loading screen of the BOSS ROOM. After several tries, I was able to log into the game... only to find myself in the Ready Room.

I know I'm not going to get a refund nor anything like that. I just wanted to know if any of this happened to you ever and what did you do after that (bug reports, support tickets, Sudaruska charge in T1, whatev).

Ive had this happen to me pretty recently, on my run for Radiants. i got on the elevator to D26, game crashed, back at haven.
No Radiants
I was pretty mad. And yelled swears over guild chat. Then, i helped a guildie with a mission.

I rarely ever had my client crash on me, so I never really did anything about it except log back in and continue playing.

If this was the days of the Mist Energy system, you could ask for the devs to send you back to FSC, because you technically PAYED your way there.

Now, though, I would just cry and try again.

Rage at the game's less than good netcode (because most times I get booted like that it's because the game farts out when someone tries to do a Google search), try to relog. If I relog and get put back where I was, I finish what I was doing then logout. If I'm at Ready Room I just logout, go play Pokemon X and login to SK only on the next day.

When Spiral Knights decides to crash or I have the "Alt+Tab issue (you Alt+Tab back when SK resolution is fullscreen and you get a white screen with the game being unresponsive), I play something else.

Solution to my alt+tab issue: make SK res. Windowed.

Arilys, do you run the game off steam? You can enter steam overlay when you are going to be away for a while.
Tip: I enter steam overlay when I am in Haven because people can still push you with the hammer charge.

I know the Steam Overlay trick. That's not the problem. The problem is that if someone else in the house uses a different computer to do a search or just check something online, SK, being the hungry selfish connection hog it is, decides to go from 4 bars to 1, makes my knight bounce all over the place and then logs me out because of "connection issues". Sometimes I relog and get put back in the level I was, other times it puts me in Ready Room and makes me wish bad things towards OOO. Like a Sudaruska charge to the foot.

Inb4 "Durr get better internets!" because I currently have a download speed of 30Mbps and I can play other online games just fine while downloading stuff at the same time.

Also, if someone uses the hammer charge to move me I either kick them from the party or leave the party. I think it's rude to use that, especially if it's while I'm typing something instead of actually being AFK.
