when I tried putting the game resolution to the max, it was too big that I couldn't reach the video settings, that's why I suggest allowing zooming and expanding and contracting the screen up to the resolution, I need my video settings back to the default while being able to reach the settings without the fact it's to far down

Nuke your Java Preference API's storage, it will reset your settings and throw it back to the default resolution sk tries on first run. Bad news is you'll have to redo your keyboard settings. Open up terminal, "cd" into the right directory, then "rm" it.

Or if you wanna spend your time searching through the settings...

(Since I don't have a mac, but do run linux...)
Find the preference folder (probably ~/Library/Preferences/ [LinuxMint is ~/.java/.userPrefs/])
Go into "projectx" folder and there should be a "prefs.xlm" file.
Open this file with a text editor (such as xcode).
Change the line that reads < entry key="display_mode" value="Xres,Yres,0,0"> to the Xres,Yres you want.

Edit: Noticed the xml code got removed for the forums thinking it was html.
