Just like the topic says, I am planning on getting a new set using Seerus mask and Chaos cloak. Any suggestions on UVs I should look out for when crafting/on the AH?
I just recently crafted a magic cloak with freeze and stun resist medium, and another with shadow defense low.
Not damage UVs. Damage protection doesn't help a whole lot. But status protection can help tons. So get fire, shock, freeze.
Of these, freeze is the least important, because on that set you'll have trouble getting immunity. Freeze protection is much more useful when you cross one of those immunity thesholds.
Basically, fire or shock or both. If not that, then a high/max defense of some sort would be OKish. I think that for freeze, you'd be better swapping out to black kat cowl for, when you are eventually able to fail at farming black kats and forced to cough up 1 mill.
Personally I would look after Cloak with good fire uv (Fire still hurts a lot, even with Seerus Mask) and maybe try to get poison uv on helm (long damage debuff is annoying).
Shock low +snarky shock mes gives shock max protection against shock bombs
I would put Freeze on it if you aren't planning on getting any other freeze resistant gunner helmet.
Shock is also a good choice, since you could probably get (near) resistance to shock using just this helmet.
