For what it's worth...

Considering OOO had this large of a gut punch prior to making Spiral Knights (which would be the next game before the Dr. Who Facebook game), I think they've done a lot to try and hop out of the deep hole they've done. 4~5 years later, and they've shrunk a bit, and with Nick gone, yeah...we might have to wait a while before any patches can get out.
At this point though, I don't think we're entitled to much of anything if the devs (who are a tiny team by now) are putting their noses to the grindstone for other projects in OOO, if not working vigorously / slowly for this. Though, it would be nice if we had gotten at least the interaction between the community and the staff we had before in the past years, but do note that most of our events were player-made and hosted. I think we had an okay-good community on our own, which didn't create the need for OOO to constantly interact with us. Unfortunately, the players who did invest all that time and money to make the game truly enjoyable for a large amount of us are off doing other things with their lives, like college (Artifice, Happyapathy) or family (Tevokkia, maybe others [I was here for only about 2-3 years, and then almost exclusively with the Treasure Vault. I probably missed tons of more people]).
But with all those people leaving on a good note, I'm a little more than disappointed to see this still going on. I've stopped lurking when we all became a little disappreciative, but this isn't what I wanted to see (though I expected negativity to an extent.). e.e

Well stand around poking it with sticks until it really does die why don't we all. I'm all for you making these threads because you're not wrong and that IS what is slowly happening and will very likely continue to happen.... but at least try to bring something new to the table, or bump the old thread.
