Maybe it'll be the "something grim" that was mentioned in here.
Watch it be an event where all prize boxes ever made will be available at once, and all the redundant grind-for-18-hours-a-day-to-be-able-to-craft-something-new events (I'm looking at you tortodrones and black kats) will be available, and suddenly OOO will announce that the game's being shut down so they release all that stuff at once to siphon as much cash as they can one last time before pulling the plug.
Sounds pretty grim indeed, grim, as in the direction the game has taken ever since Sega bought out OOO.
