The Gunner has been due to be released a year ago. And many, MANY! Players have been annoyed about all of this.
But for me it's not the Gunner Update that is making my head boil. It is the lack of players. I just don't need the Gunner Update in my life because I'm not really a Gunner ;) but some people want it to come and because of it not coming, they are leaving the game...
I don't want any big updates, I don't want any huge new events. I just need the players that have taken a break off the game to be called back in by something... Not even an update...
That's what I wanted to say. This thread will probably be a waste of your time, but if any GM reads this, I want them to know that they should really focus on bringing the players back and then they can focus on making promos for a year straight.

Players want statisfaction and new stuff. Its not only the gunner update, I am not a gunner myself but I want it to come because there were a lot off people hyped for that ""gunners update"". The hyped died down its been delayed for a year.
Lemme ask you this would you eat the same food all the time ? No because people want diversity and thats what this game lacks in.

Irevolutioni, as someone who has had recent kidney stone surgery at 25, eating the right foods (NOT snacks all day), avoiding soda (which I this addiction to), and daily exercise are some things you can try to keep in shape. #welcometomymesseduplife

I agree with you, I too wish this game could see some new stuff, but for now try to appeciate the game and the devs for what effort they have put into their game.
Oh, we've appreciated it. Then, much like anything else that's been around a long time without new and improved additions, it just starts to lose its attraction. That's just human nature. We want shiny and useful new toys, but we also know when we're being distracted by a large amount of things that look shiny, but are actually kinda useless.
And though we get bored of monotony, drastic change can also lead to outcry. It's best to compromise by implementing change, but gradually - a word which here means "over a long period of time, but still shorter than the period of time it has taken to release a significant update."

Excuse me, I'm tired and probably shouldn't be posting anything on any message boards. Friends don't let friends type tired. Which kinda explains my current situation...

It's hard to find a recent example where anything other than promos have made a stir in the Spiral Knights community. It was never like this.
Remember all the excitement over how we would get more OCH story related DLC....what happened to that?

TF2 doesn't, new weapons and maps appear with decent frequency, no 2 matches are the same, and (unlike LD) it's balanced PVP

some people prefer not to interact with MMO communities at all in some MMO's. so we don't even have an exact number for this MMO's total population. Playing purely solo is easier now that you can skip going into haven and just create a private party. So to the community, it's like your account was never created. Your account details are still stored somewhere though.
