Application to Join
1. My in game name is Desert Dragon
2. I started March 13 2018. Though I found this game two years ago and wanted to play. Sadly at the time I couldn't. I'm happy that I could play now.
3. I will play whenever I don't have school. Currently, I have school on every other day except Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I try to rotate between all of the games that I am currently interested in. So for a few hours, I play this game, for the next few hours I play another game. And I make sure to check in on my homework load.
4. I'm always looking for a fun game to play, something along the lines of good co-op/multiplayer games. I'm not usually a talkative player, but I am trying to just start off with a "Hi". Currently, I am studying to become a game developer in college (either programming or something to do with the art side fo games?)

6. When I read the introduction and the rules of the Retribution Council, I thought that it was written very well.
Professional. Also, it stated that this guild was a PvE guild. I personally like PvE guilds.
7. I like progressing through with others. When I am alone, I like to search for parties to join to see if I could help someone progress with their story. So I could help others when they go into a dungeon.

3. Currently I play the daily prestige missions and occasionaly Blast Network. I don't play much outside of that, not because of time but because I am having trouble enjoying the game solo. I anticipate joining this guild would fix that.
4. I'm 18, a senior in highschool, and fixing to leave for college in the near future. I've played this game on and off since I joined, with a very large hiatus after the Radiant Sun Shards change, and similar smaller ones scattered through the years until 2 months ago. One of my biggest mistakes, at least in a video game, was immediately before I quit the game in 2012, I sold all of my equipment to A VENDOR in the Bazaar and gave the money to my younger brother, who squandered it and quit the game within a week anyway. I've since regained all of my gear and more since then, but I do not have as much gear or money as you would expect of someone who has played as long as I have.
Personality wise, I'm patient and rarely get angry, though I can get pretty sarcastic sometimes.

6. I'm searching for an experienced and active PvE guild that will make the grind less excruciating. The name also helped grab my eye above other guilds; it's not something I would cringe at appearing under my name unlike many other guilds in this game.
7. I currently have 821 hours invested into this game and would label myself as a veteran bomber - back when RSS was OP, I frequently soloed FSC in Mad Bomber. I can also solo DaN with only my trusty Nitronome and Dark Retribution, using 0 sparks of life, so I would say I am quite skilled - at least solo. I have always enjoyed playing a support bomber role as well - I'm not against guiding newer knights through their missions every so often. As of contributions of material value, I'll just say that when I'm tired, I find rage delving on recipe runs to be therapeutic.
8. You can't seriously expect someone to say "No" to this unironically, right?

I'm a third star bomber with fourth rate bombs - I have bombs and attitude, but mostly attitude. Again I'm an absolute garbage bomber, but I'm always trying to improve so I can actually be helpful.

There aren't very many active guilds, and you guys seem like a fun bunch that cares about your members. Most of my good memories of SK are guild-related, like the time this guild I was in had a raffle and the same guy kept winning, or just logging on and getting to be like 'you guys want to do some jelly king'. I think I want to be part of a community again.
We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community?
Bombs and attitude. Also time, dedication, some crowns, a sense of humor, and if I ever git gud a skilled bomber.

I basically binge this game 24/7 because it's one of the few mmorpgs and games in general that I can run on my PC.
Tell us a bit about yourself as a person.
I'm very friendly and reasonable/fair. I try to help people when I can, like if they need some petty materials, or if they need help with a mission. People have helped me before and I just want to pay it forward. One time, someone actually donated me 20k crowns when I needed it so I'm always trying to show that same generosity to others.

My two biggest reasons for joining is the guild's name, Retribution Council, sounds awesome but it's not too cheesy, and the other reason, the process of having to apply to get in. I've recieved a lot of random guild invites but there aren't many guilds that require you to randomly apply to them. So if you want to get in, you have to be commited, not just some random person who might leave at any time for any reason.
We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community?
Well I just recently got past 5* HoH and then to Vanguard after 5 days of total gameplay (without spending money), so I really want to help people (especially guildies) with their missions. I also don't mind donating to the guild to keep it running once in a while.

I've heard a lot of great things about the Retribution Council, such as your Vanaduke record, and a lot of great things about how mature and friendly you guys are. I'm looking for a guild that is knowledgeable about the game and at the same time can have a fun time hanging out and having a laugh. I also have two friends in the guild named Fishmclishy and Nerdy-Knight who have a very positive opinion about the guild and recommend that I join, and I've run with a few of your guild members in the past and recently.

I can play actively as well as talk with people on the Discord, and help with runs. I can also pitch in to any guild upkeep costs, and participate in any community events you guys might have. I'd be happy to help people farm during events like farming black kats, Grinchlin Assault, etc.

I'm generally a quieter person. For most games I tend to play more non-aggressive team based roles(supp/ot in ow, supp/second awp in csgo, top lane in lol(specializing in tanks)).

I'm a legacy player with time spent in notable guilds like HunterxHunter and Jempire. During my time in Jempire I played LD with them consistently and grew to enjoy LD and learned how to use my primary sword of choice(BTB) effectively. I would be able to bring help in terms of combat(PvP, PvE) from my experience(holding aggro well for groups, utility player). I would be a body to go on clockwork runs with and have fune with.

-I begun playing in 2012. There was times where I deleted my knights or took a break for a while. I stopped playing for a bit after the UI change and new forge/crafting system. Here and there I would just log on and idle for a few minutes to check things out. I made a full comeback at the start of 2019 and I have been playing ever since! :)
3. How frequently do you like playing the game? Because we sure do!
-I play the game daily. Mostly before and after school ends, so mornings and late evenings going into nighttime! Lately I've been focusing on farming and making new weapons. If I am not on, I am either studying, sleeping, or at school haha!

-I am pretty friendly, sometimes offering materials and items for those in need. I've been playing solo for a long time, occasionally playing with others. Lately, I've been farming here and there. I am in the process of gathering as much gear as I used to have back then. Right now, I would like to have even more gear and accessories as well!

-I chose this guild because I like the perks and I also like the rules as well. I agree with the rules as well. I personally believe that this guild seems friendly for everyone and is helpful to everyone of any experience whether you have just started, returned to the game, or a veteran. As stated, I played solo for the most part, but I think it is time for me to join an active guild that shares the same hobbies. I wish to learn from more experienced players as well.

-I feel that I can help newcomers to the game and guide them through missions and runs as well. When did you begin playing Spiral Knights?
Honestly, I had forgotten. BUT I do remember playing when there was still mist energy.
How frequently do you like playing the game? Because we sure do!
I would love to play daily but I am busy with..ya'know..life. T.T
Tell us a bit about yourself as a person.
I mainly plays SK in a party and love the chaos that might result it in. I am a casual player and prefers to mainly have a fun time in the clockworks arcade than to do runs after runs of vana. Of course, I would love to do occasional shadow lairs and other harder contents. My favorite boss is Snarby just cause its cute.
Our community has players from lots of different countries. Which might you be from?
I am uncomfortable saying where I am from in the forums but I am from Asia :)
Why the Retribution Council, and not other guilds? What do you think makes us different?
I am looking for a large guild as I prefer to play in a party. While there are other large guilds, I find (based on the recruitment posts) that Retribution Council seems the least elitist. As someone that prefers a chill gaming experience, I prefer a gaming environment that does not stress over being able to do hitless solo vana runs.
We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community?
I believe I can offer a helping hand to any players in need. Considering SK is a dying game, a nice non-elitists game community is important to retain any small amount of new players that wander into Cradle.

I have been trying to get or to look into various guilds,and i ended up chosing the Retribution Council because it seems fun and active so yeah that's about it i guess

I can't really donate because i don't have that many resources yet but i would like be a part of a comunity in the game that i very much like, and playing with people is my go to so i would also like help other players

When did you begin playing Spiral Knights?> Only a few days ago, I'm a new player.
I'm an extremely casual player, so I often have several days where I don't play at all simply because I don't feel like gaming, I greatly enjoy the game though.
Tell us a bit about yourself as a person.> I'm a teenager currently working towards getting into college, and an amature artist who spends most of their free time drawing. (hence why i'm not a very regular player)

We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community?> I'm not sure. I mostly focus on playing through stories and I'm not very talkative when I'm in the zone, but I can offer my friendship and company while I have the time, and as I level I might start going into crafting and material collecting.
Did you read the rules and agree to them completely?> Yes. I have an issue where I cuss a lot but for the sake of joining the guild I'm perfectly willing to cut that language from my vocabulary.
