Monster Damage and Party Size

I know party size affects monster health. Does it also affect damage?
I found this post from Bopp where he expresses doubt but he did not test solo vs group.
Wiki doesn't say anything about party.
Offhand, does anyone know if this has verified through testing?

I'm moderately sure that no one has tested this before. I'll be placing my bet on no along with Bopp. It wouldn't be hard to test either though, just measure your damage taken from some hit in a party and then go solo and measure again.

He means damage inflicted by the monsters, not damage inflicted by you. :)

Thanks for checking that, Salty!
Bopp was right, I was looking for damage by monsters. But I appreciate you looking into it :)

I took a little more than 6 pips of damage in a party of four.
I took a little more than 6 pips of damage solo.
Sorry for misunderstanding.

The only changes in monster damage that I've noticed has been the "invisible base armor" that you get on normal/advanced difficulties [which is only visible when you wear the incorrect armor types].
I've tested, but not published the explicit results for party size not influencing damage [back when I logged all shankle damage values]. I did make a mention that player armor changes with difficulty.
The only characteristic of monsters that I've noticed change in all my testing is... HP is influenced by party size [checked when the monster spawns].

I think it does affect the health of the monsters as the party size increases.
I have seen that its is harder to kill Vana when I'm with a party than without.

Yes, we know that party size affects monster health.
This thread is about whether party size affects how much damage is inflicted by monsters on knights.
All of our experience, backed up by Extra-Salty's measurement in post #6, says that it does not.
I do not have data for solo vs. group, and won't be able to get any in the next few days. Let us know if you find something surprising (i.e. damage increases with party size).
