I prefer to use whatever combination of guns, swords and bombs makes sense to me for the content. This has recently became much more gun focused, as has the entire game. I prefer defensive armors, but Spiral Knights is much more geared towards offensive perks so I tend to use primarily black kat/chaos. I am tier 3, and do not play lockdown. I occasionally play and enjoy a game of blast network, but prefer the game "Spiral Knights" to the game "bomber man" on the whole. Banding together is more efficient on the whole, more fun for me and benefits more people, so I prefer that to soloing. I'd rather not rate "spiral knight".

I prefer partying with people because I can play by myself any other time. It's more interesting/frustrating/exciting playing with others.

I like swords the most. I like guns too, but eh... there's the challenge of getting in and dealing your damage with Swords, especially since I don't have Skolver and such Sword-bonus armor (only in the past year have I gotten BTS).

I enjoy LD and Arcade for the different experiences. In LD you can be a derp with special shield abilities that increase your capabilities and deaths don't matter that much, and in Arcade there's the game of survival if you're in difficult situations(sadly it doesn't happen that often...). I dunno about BN because I haven't played it much.

Tier 3.

For me, I this game is okay. If I was a new player I think I'd have much more fun with these missions instead of miscellaneous exploration in the beginning of SK. I would especially have fun with the game if there was nobody to spoil the story and the enemies (which would be unlikely).
Now, I mostly stay for the people that I've met in the game, and the way that SK is a easy/comfortable game to play. The 3/5 that I rate this game for is mostly because of the community.

A: It really depends, for most general runs or when I rush levels, I'll prefer to solo.
I prefer having a group for more difficult Tier 3 areas or areas I just know I will be unable/have cumbersome times with handling it on my own.

Q2. Bombs, Sword, or Guns, which do you prefer?

A: I actually have no preference, I like all weapons in this game with equal interests. I try to at least carry one of each type with me at all times when it comes down to runs. (I like having a diverse arsenal, I just like being able to utilize different equipment and have fun using them.)

Q3. Protective armours or offensive armours, which do you prefer?

A: Protective, I'm actually against sacrificing defense and becoming a glass cannon in favor of defeating enemies faster. I always like being able to get more defense to favor myself surviving longer against enemies if possible.

Q4. What tier are you?

A: Three, I've remained in this tier for quite some time, even now I occasionally work on some equipment to try it out and see how much fun it'll be to use it.

Q5. Do you like Lockdown and/or Blast Network better then the arcade?

A: Absolutely not, I actually like exploring around in the randomly generated PvE levels the game has to offer. While still waiting patiently for more potential updates on the Arcade, I like being able to just run around freely in the levels already offered.

Q6. Lastly, on 1-10 how do you rate spiral knight? if you have time, please describe why you give that score.

A Long Response: I'd say an 8.

Gameplay: The gameplay is very solid and fresh. The combat is simple, yet effective. Status and Damage Typings make the system stand out nicely, along with the options of utilization of weapons to exploit the enemy's weakness, and defense and resistances to prevent the enemy from exploiting yours. Three Rings definitely does well with balancing equipment for the most part in PvE, allowing players (provided correct typing advantages,) to really go with what equipment interests them and adapt to making them useful in their current situation. While yes, the grind for orbs and crystals can be bothersome, but fortunately, the player is not subjugated to only grinding for these rarities to progress, they can alternatively grind for crowns to purchase the rarities this way. Lag can be a nuisance at times when it comes to hitboxes and attacks connecting, but that is typical for all online games.
Puzzles are also simple yet effective for meshing into the combat/exploration style of the game, especially in later missions (such as ones introduced in 10-1 and 10-2) that diverse greatly, offering different props for puzzle-solving not found anywhere else in the game. I hope that Three Rings implement these sparsely in future levels.

Art & Music: The artstyle is charming, and many of the effects and environments along with the monsters and assets mesh well with it. I'd like to be able to see some interesting new environments in the future if possible. The music is also fitting, while the main battle theme does get rather repetitive, it is nice. I hope there are some different battle themes for some level themes or enemy typings (such as the Swarm and Firestorm Citadel areas getting their own respective battle themes.)

Story: The story I feel is very much still a work in progress, so I'm actually going to refrain from commenting about this one.

Overall I think Three Rings has many nice ideas going for this game, and I wish for them to continue to work hard and produce refreshing content for the game. (Yes I am aware I didn't address everything, but I am at least mentioning aspects I would like to at least bring up for this answer.)
