Behemoth Origins
Behemoth is an incredibly old guild in Spiral Knights. Previously known as Equalists, we have had our ups and down with an elaborate past. Founded by Vladimic and My-Itchy-Knee in 2011, we were always a part of the upper echelons of Spiral Knights. Behemoth was re-founded in 2013 when Ychi, Shift & myself, the secondary Guild Masters, performed a coup d'état and started afresh :P Over a long period of time we have acknowledged a core group of guildies whose loyalties have exceeded all bounds and recruited fresh blood who has livened up the guild in every aspect. This includes guilds which have merged into us: Cogito Ergo Sum & Infinitia. We also have our personal guild website for guild news, events and socialising :3 -> BehemothSK!
Why Behemoth?
Behemoth is an end-game guild with fun filled members and occasional guild events. We do Shadow Lairs whenever we feel like it and prestige missions everyday. There are many who love to farm Vanaduke (Turd isn't one), Dreams & Nightmares and some who love LD (Ychi isn't one). Basically, we are an all-round, anything goes guild. We have farmed BN for bomb heads and done GvG with our friendly neighbourhood Echo of Silence a couple of times (got rekt to bits but LOVED it) Much fun :P if you'd like to know more about us feel free to poke any Fat-Moths :3

What is Behemoth looking for? :O
Behemoth's main focus is to seek out players who have an easy going personality, loyal and are mature enough. We currently only recruit knights of rank defender and above to weed out people who beg for CRs and items, however we have recruited brand new knights who are friends of friends (: We aren't a fan of drama/drag queens/kings and overly vulgar individuals and have removed a few due to those reasons.

4. Where are you from? (Optional) The land of cold beaches. California. I you think about moving to California for surfing, MOVE TO THE EAST COAST INSTEAD. The beaches are so cold here, like seriously.

-When I do Missions, I have no choice but to kill the beasts and skin their hides and clipping their nails and scales for selling at my Black Market buddy Ricasso, the stranger closest to the entrance from Town Square (which is why I sell my stuff to him/her).
I also hate Lockdown and I am an utter noobling, but I enjoy making comments that nobody understands, for example: "Lest thou'st giveth forth a chil't of upfortheth belongeth ot'r thin' an eye fer' yer' danty-o."
6. What guilds have you been in?
-Optimistic, and all the guilds I made for myself which I utterly forgot.
7. Why do you want to join Behemoth?
-I am guildless, but don't even try to think that I am homeless... And Behemoth is usually an endgame monster enemy from Final Fantasy, my favorite RPG game series of all time. I'm sorry if you disagree.

1. I started playing mid summer 2012, I haven't layed in two years but I've finally gotten back into it. raking in 68 hours in the past week. (i'm not addicted don't judge :P)

The Exceeds, I left after a little tiff with one of the guild's higher ups. Shadow of Apocrea (or something), left because of all the inactivity. The last one I was in was... Kingsmen? I left when I decided to take a break from the game.

Guilds are nice, if the community in it is swell. I'm mostly interested in being able to help folks out and have an occasional conversation amongst a crowd of relatively mute party members.

Sorry dude. We don't wish to take that risk.
I have spoken to my fellow Moths, and it is strange enough that you decided to list out everything you seem to have "lost", but yet still have a BKC which frankly, is worth much much more than all your lost items put together. I don't know why you had to rant about not having any "suitable" weapons to do any runs, when anyone can do them with their proto set albeit with a little more care and precaution. Did you join because you hoped someone would give you some free stuff? Idk, it's just suspicious how you just joined recently and decided to complain about everything you have lost, lol.
We may be an old guild, but we do not want our guildies to be cheated of their hard earned crowns/energy even though they may have spare cash to spare. We're sorry, but we have decided not to take a chance on having our guildies being swindled. We would have been willing to carry you through runs and help you on the road back to re-crafting the things you have lost, but we do not advocate giving out weapons or equipment for free. I don't see why you can't "intimidate" other vanguards with your hallow costume. Nobody needs a costume to "intimidate" others. I have seen players wearing a 1* star set in Vana, but heck, their skills were awesome. That, my dear, is called being skilled. No one gives two hoots about whether your costume is a hallow or freaking frosty set. Don't know why you're so hung up on appearance when it is not even required for you to run through Clockworks to earn back the crowns you claim to have lost.
Start grinding and stop grousing to everybody about being hacked, and I'm sure you'll get back everything you've lost in time to come sometime. That being said, I wish you the best and hope you do find another guild that suits your needs.

That was entertaining to read. And to be frank I have gear now ^~^ in fact plan on running a shadow lair with my new guild mates, and the intimidation thing was a joke. Get a sense of humor ^~^ and I happen to be against scamming. Actually I'm kind of happy where I am now in my current guild who really don't care what happened to my account in the past, as long as I take actions to prevent it again, it was also simple to remember the gear I lost considering I had them in load outs and such that I used while in arcade. I also wasn't "grousing" to everyone considering the only ones who actually knew about it were my two best friends and those who were online in the guild. :) I also don't care about cosmetics as said at the top (it was a joke) so "my dear" do what "floats your boat" (btws judging by the whole story you wrote you must have some superiority problem or something either that or ya like seeing yourself try and 'dog' others out) Byyyyyye btws(x2) tell Ferv the coat she gave me helped a lot turned it into a snarly coat after having some friends help me get everything ready. That and considering the fact that I have friends (and my gf) that could back up the fact they seen my char doing something with the vendor while I was in a group Skype call with one of them and his friends playing pokemon

Started being a knight when my mom gave birth to me in Isora. Morai war veteran here.

I can't recall how long I've been in Isora since the Morai wars destroyed all the evidence of my existence there. Here in Cradle I'm approximately 4-5 years old.

Our home planet Isora! My memories of it are fading but I know it was once the finest planet in our galaxy.

The higher ups have commanded us to invade Cradle and steal its resources. Up to now I still enjoy obeying their commands.
I take pleasure in ripping off the tails and fur of dead Wolvers, steal the metals and gizmos of Gremlin scum, savagely pull off ribs and "feathers" from those ugly Undead, and rob everyone who isn't a fellow Spiral Knight of their lunch money.

I used to have my own guild called Yoshi Warriors, recruiting Shogun Helmed knights here and there. Didn't work out because of the modern helms provided by the higher ups. I'm one of the last surviving traditional Yoshi Warrior.
I moved on to other insignificant guilds such as Skyferadewhatchamacallit, B.R.M.C.A or something like that, Bunny Legtastic and ended up with Equalists, now Behemoth. Had a short but sweet stay in Echo of Silence but my Behemoth family needs me more.
