How to pronounce Owsla: It's the -ouse from "mouse", and -la from "Cola". Ouse-la~ :)
The name Owsla originates from novel Watership Down, by Richard Adams.
OWSLA is a constantly growing guild that is always welcoming new members. We are tightly knit, active, and aim to make the game more enjoyable for each other. Our membership hails from all over the globe ~ United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia!
Feel free and stop by to our guild hall on Saturdays between 8:00PM - 9:00PM Eastern Standard/Daylight Time to join our parties. Non-members are welcome, as long as you do not spam and take account of the rules. We play a variety of games with prizes which our Guild Master(s), and/or Officers host and hand out gifts to the winners!
HOW TO JOIN
If you are interested in joining, you should come out to our welcoming guild hall or leave a private message to an officer/GM, usually at least one is on throughout the day.
Visit our site * www.owsla.shivtr.com * and place an application there, then we can send you an invite whenever we get the chance. On our site, we discuss Spiral Knights related as well as unrelated topics, share screenshots and video recordings, write and share short works of fiction, and make announcements.
RULES AND POLICIES
As a respectable guild, we have rules that must be followed at all times with or without any GMs/officers lurking about. Violation of any of these rules will, at first, warrant a warning. Subsequent violations stand as grounds for demotion, or even expulsion from the guild.
- Treat others with respect! As a member of Owsla, you must treat everyone, guildmate or not, with respect and politeness.
- No cursing, profanity, blasphemy, racism, or sexism, or otherwise vulgar language.
- Knights with inappropriate names will not be invited. This includes names that could be misinterpreted as inappropriate.
- No begging for materials, crowns, promotions, etc. This guild is here to assist its members, but not do all the work for them.
- No alternate knights (Your main-knight and and alt-knight). It is inefficient and only serves to confuse everyone else.
- Inactivity for an extended amount of time will result in removal from Owsla. You may speak with a GM or officer about going inactive and this rule may be held flexible.
- Donations are voluntary, but greatly appreciated. (i.e Crowns for Upkeep, Boss Statues, expansions, etc.) We hold monthly donation contests and raffles for a chance to win a prize box or other item of significant value.
RANKINGS
Earning promotions in Owsla is fairly straightforward, all of which require you to be a member for a specified time, with the last two rankings also requiring a test, supervised by an officer or guild master.
RECRUIT - Your application has been accepted and you are now in our ranks.
Perks: You get to be with us! :D
MEMBER - You have been in Owsla for a full week, and are probably getting cozy in our halls.
Perks: Access to member storage and you are officially an Owslan!
VETERAN - You've been here for a month since you were a member. That's more than enough time to see how this guild works, and you've surely seen some things. To achieve this rank, you must have a full set of 4* equipment and pass a test in 7-2 Vicious and Viscous (Elite).
Perks: Access to veteran storage, the ability to edit the guild hall via Design Mode (please contact a GM and request permission before doing this)
Other: Unlimited number of Veterans are allowed.
OFFICER - With another month's worth of active membership, and a successful run through the 9-1 Silent Legion (Elite) (alongside 5* gear and of course the ability to access the Silent Legion), you are now officially recognized as an officer of Owsla. Congratulations if you have made it!
Perks: Access to officer storage, Birdsong Emporium, officer channel (/o), officer powers (do not abuse), and the guild's respect for staying in Owsla for so long! You are held for following all the rules and keeping the guild in order while the GMs are offline.
Other: There can only be a maximum of 30 officers are one time, once all officer spots are filled, no one will be able to become an officer and remain a Veteran until further notice.
OWSLA ACADEMY
Welcome to Owsla Academy! The Academy is our answer to teaching new Spiral Knights players (Owslans or not) the happenings of Spiral Knights. Fighting techniques, weapon information, Auction Hall trader tips, and much much more! Owsla Academy is coordinated by GMs and officers, and class schedules will be posted on our website www.owsla.shivtr.com. GMs and officers will take questions and provide answers on everything from strategies, weapons, bosses, ranks, and everything in between. In this class, there are no dumb questions and we will do our best to answer all of them.

Happy Holidays from Owsla!
Owsla isn't dead, we're still here! :)
Just like most guilds, we have our ups and down, seasons where we're busier than normal and not so busy. We have a good amount of active members currently, and we have reinstated Saturday night get-togethers.
This month we're giving away 2 turqoise prize boxes - 1 to the highest donator to the guild treasury, and another being raffled off - just donate 10k crowns to the treasury to enter. We will also be holding random gift giveaways to guild members this month in the spirit of Christmas.

WHAT? Owsla isn't dead? I thought we all died out years ago!
Story Time!
I was by no means with Owsla from the beginning, I'm stoked to see you guys survived whatever happened back there. I originally joined Owsla a year or so ago, Or whenever the orginal GM (sorry forgot your name I only met you once) signed off and handed his GM-ship over to Caralantha. It was the best guild I've ever been in, and I'd love to get back in. I left the guild (or was kicked out) because a while ago I was occupied with other things (namely League of Legends, IGN SuperEccles add me I have no friends :| ) and forgot to log on for a month or so, thus leading one of the officers to kick me out. When I came back I couldn't locate all of my old guildies and when I finally found someone from owsla (it took like a whole week) they were some annoying 8 year old in cobalt who had never heard of Caralantha. It was at this point that I realized that the guild must have died, its GM-ship handed once again over to the next in line causing the roster to drop dramatically (I used to be able to walk around in Haven and find at least a few of us hanging around the fountain, but now I couldn't find anyone)
But it seems now that at least old Irish and a few others (you probably don't remember me, but I was the one that would stalk Caralantha and Greywanderer everywhere, IGN Professor-Ego) have revitalized the old Owsla and I'd love to become a member once again...

Happy New Years from Owsla!

As things sometimes go with guilds, there have been a few changes with regards to management. Many of the original Owslians are still around, although we are most likely not as active as we were once long, long ago during our glory days. Things change with individuals - school, work, family priorities, etc, that can lead to such changes. The spirit of Owsla, however, lives on with those of us who are still around. Join us if you like - the door is always open! :)
