How do I shoot/swing with a sword and a gun at the same time? If you dont know what I mean, I have a little demo of me doing it on accident during PvP.
Does anyone know how to do this intentionally?

I can't really do it on command. But if I switch a sword and a gun fast it's not that uncommon for it to happen a few times.

How can they do it repeatedly if the game is just being out of sync?
Either they're alternating weapons very fast the server is having trouble keeping up, or they're using macros. The latter is much more common when someone is A) reliably swordshooting and B) doesn't have a great connection to the server (ie, without a macro their commands would be slower reaching the server anyways). I'm sure we've all done it on accident, but when you see someone doing it nearly every attack it's a huge red herring.
I mean using macros is against the ToS, but I'm more confused as to why someone would feel the need to even use a macro in a game like this.

I believe it's just switch shooting very fluently that causes that, but I could be mistaken. As others have said it's definitely just a visual error and doesn't seem to be effecting anything beyond that.

Eh, I've been shooting with my sword occasionally from Trigger happiness.
Looks funny everytime.
It's just the game being a bit off sync. If you attack right after switching the animation will get some of the properties of the previous weapon while using the new weapon's functionality.
