How much are the forge chances actually the right chances (how often does a 60% chance fail, 80% chance fail etc)?
It might just be RNGsus messing with me, but I really want to know.

(just seems like when I forge an 80% chance item it fails 80% of the time)

agree that chances appear correct
Based on my data, which are not as numerous as Skepticraven's, I agree that the forge chances appear to be operating as promised.
Forging Data.
Left box is the observed failure chance, right box is number of forging attempts in my dataset.
The numbers viewable while forging appear to be correct, given my data (not statistically different). If it says 60% chance of failure... ON AVERAGE if you do 10 forgings that way, 6 of them will fail.
