Meanwhile, there have been many threads over the years. I recommend that you search Google for something like "merchanting site:forums.spiralknights.com" (without the quotation marks). Or maybe "merchant guide site:forums.spiralknights.com". You get the idea. Of course, recent threads are better than older threads. Good luck. :)
