Silversix and Elements
I've just recently upgraded from Antigua to Silversix. I was pretty excited, considering the attack boost is quite great, and there's the elemental attack throwed in, plus the damage against undead. But...
It seems my damage has actually gotten WORSE.
I compared the damage - With both at the same level, the damage is: (This is at a tier 2 gate, at the starting depths)
Beasts, Gremlins, Fiends:
Antigua: ~50
Silversix: ~25
Undead:
Antigua: ~30
Silversix: ~25
Slimes:
Antigua: ~30
Silversix: ~15
Construct:
Antigua: ~60
Silversix: ~35
So pretty much, the attack power decreased by half for most races, and nearly half for others. And even with the undead bonus, the damage is still worse than Antigua.
So I'm wondering; Is this just how the elements work currently? It seems incredibly unbalanced for the damage to drop this much when it'd be expected to increase considerably. Or is this possibly some sort of bug?
I did read that thread one time, and I'm aware of that. But it's still kind of stupid that it deals less damage than Antigua - They're essentially the same in this aspect, so the bonus should at least make it deal more than Antigua.
I also said on my post that I compared them at the same level - Both were at level 1 for the damage comparing. (From memory, plus asked a friend who just got an Antigua aswell about his damage)
I only really got my own Antigua up to about level 7, and even then it had just a little more attack than the lower levels.

Silversix is 4-stars.
In Tier 2 it's damage is severely reduced, just like all 4 and 5-star weapons.
It will even out as it gains heat and you play on lower depths.
Well, just completed leveling on the Silversix. The damage is still a bit inferior to the Antigua, and considering the Antigua never really got past 7, that's kind of something.
I did test it in tier 3 aswell, still had lower damage than Antigua.
I didn't really notice that damage reduction on tiers - I have two other tier 4 weapons (Hunting Blade, Fiery Pepperbox) and both of them had normal damage on tier 2.
I'm just guessing it's really the elemental thing. Though I hope it's some sort of glitch. ;S

Nitpick: there's no such thing as Tier 4 weapons. The Clockworks has 3 different Tier ratings, Equipment has 6 different star ratings.
4-star weapons generally do maximum damage around Depth 22. 5-star weapons have severely gimped damage in Tier 2, to the point where they may be weaker than the Tier appropriate 2 and 3-star weapons. Hopefully with such l advanced weapons you also have advanced armor to offset this penalty.
First, read here.
Second, most (if not all) lvl 1 weapons are weaker than the lvl 10 of the previous version.
