Something Strange (Weird Gate)...

Just finished a Jelly King run and the home (to Haven) elevator on the level after him had a strange dark blue down arrow (looked like an upside down tape eject symbol) - and said it cost 10 CE (which was also strange because of it power weekend). I quickly jumped on it thinking it was something special but it just brought me back to Haven. Unfortunately I wasn't in the right mind to take a picture.

Anyone else ever seen this?

Yep, the gates make a funny

Yep, the gates make a funny sound and go dark when they rotate out.

Indeed, this exact same thing happened to me at the Core when I completed the leftmost gate after gate-rotation. Blue arrow and 10 energy cost marker, but it functioned as normal, taking me back up to Haven for free.
