When we play the real thing do we use our own gear or will some be provided for us ?

So say if....
Is this correct?: (example) if like 4 people want to play a game and there are two tier 3 knights and two tier 1 knights does that mean each team will have a tier 1 and 3?

Loadouts determine tier of game
When you create a loadout for PvP it will show a tier "clearance" rating for PvE and PvP. The PvP clearance is what determines the tier of the match you are eligible for. If you are wearing tier 2 gear, you will be matched up with other players with tier 2 gear.
Now, one thing to note is that even one piece of tier 2 gear will flag the entire loadout as tier 2. If a player were to equip a Fang of Vog and all proto gear, that player would technically be matched in a tier 3 game (with an incredibly low quality rating score, shown in the bars on the loadout button). It's heavily advisable to create loadouts that are filled out with the same quality level gear!
You will be using your own gear, and teams will be matched based on the loadouts you use in different tiers.
