I got a beast low on my Levi when I did the last upgrade, and I was pretty excited about actually seeing a UV, but since it was such a 'meh' UV, my enthusiasm died pretty quickly. xD

My first UV was on my Tempered Calibur. VS Beast medium.

I was like HOLY SHI- WTF!??!!? A UV!?!?

Then gaped at it for 5 mins before checking what it was.

Wolvers now pay hell for their meaningless attempts to stand against me >:D

(Not really. It helps, but I don't really notice.)

My first UV

Mine wasn't rolled, but actually bought. It was a Nightblade with Construct Low for 4.5k Cr, bought from the AH. Now that I look back the seller may have meant to put 45,000 as buyout rather than 4,500 but there it is. My cute little Nightblade. Then I made it into the Silent and it rolled a CTR Med and Beast Low. (derp)

and celebrated for a few more seconds. Then I checked what UV I got.

Ahh...

I went to go make a Striker out of my Cutter but couldn't figure out how to do so (it was still equipped.) I figured that I can't upgrade it now since it is already equipped (hey, I was new!) So I made another Cutter to turn into a Striker and got... ASI Medium. I was pretty thrilled about that. Sadly, that particular Striker grew up to be a Wild Hunting Blade and doesn't see much action since the Flourishes were released, but I do still have it.

I got very few UVs for all the stuff I've crafted

First one is Fiend low on Cyro alchemer. Second one is CTR low on Firo alchemer. Third is ASI low on Ascended Calibur. The latest and best UV to this date is ASI Med, when I was making a Thwack Hammer.

I made the hammer for the lulz, but it seems Random Number God had the last laugh.

If I remember correctly, the first time I crafted something that randomly acquired a UV, I was all "Unique Variant? Amagad, a rarity! :D"
I don't actually remember which of my things got my first UV, though, but earlier today I decided to put a UV on my Barbarous Thorn Blade, and got CTR:medium in first attempt. Sohappy. I do think later lucky ones have pleased me more than that first shiny. :o

The third piece of gear I ever crafted was a Wolver Cap with a maximum shadow defense UV. This was when getting more than a single unique variant on an item wasn't yet possible. Before promptly selling it in front of the AH (pretty much single-handedly getting me from zero to four star gear), I made sure to submit a bug report because these things should just not happen.

Huh? Unique variant acquired? Oh. I got a + low damage vs undead on my super slime slasher. That's pretty cool. I knew there was some advantage to crafting these things vs buying them from the vendor.

I think my first UV was a med elemental on a firebreak shield. It was pretty much an "ooh, neat, that's useful" moment for me.

Best would probably be the Med Normal on what is now my dark thorn shield. Makes it a little harder for lumbers to smash right through it in RJP.

Uh... I think it was probably the CTR Low/Beast Low on my Nightblade.
And I just managed to craft a Spike Shower with CTR Med, too.
I managed to get about 3k CE for a Magic Hood with Freeze Max!, which was nice. (I already crafted a Divine Veil that had Freeze Low/Piercing Med/Shadow Low, which I thought was the best thing in the UNIVERSE at the time.)

Edit: Just remembered. It was the ASI Low on my Super Blaster. Herp.

Im a goofy goober YEAH!

Lets see....my real first uv was a virulent catalyzer with gremlin very high and slime low.Pretty good craft if you ask me.Second one was when i rolled beast high on my triglav.It wasnt exactly ASI or CTR,but on a normal damage sword,a bonus against any monster family is fine by me,just lets me smash those wolvers into even tinier pieces!

I just got a huge payoff after my first 3 FSC runs ever, so I decide to buy a UV for my silversix

next thing I know my computer is at the other end of my room. ASI low and a silversix *facepalm*

my first ever UV counting purchasing UVed items was a flourish with low on gremlins for 4.5k, I enjoy using it occasionally but I mostly stick to my avenger, SS, and silent nightblade.

fiend low

on my DVS, not sure which step of the way it happened, i was amused.
First uv i ever bought was a gremlin vh on a haze bomb for like 50-75k somewhere in there, then eeks informed me it was worthless, as gremlin vh is in no way useful on the haze bomb lines.

After that experience i decided i didn't need UVs and didn't want to bother really understanding them. OH THE IRONING.
