Exceedingly Bad Luck with Tier 2 Basil (was: Tier 2 Basil Stopped Selling 4* Recipes)

My friends and I always drooled over Tier 2 Basil's 15,000 crown 4* recipes, even though we have a hard time affording them, playing casually and all. However, as of the most recent patch, we've noticed that this Basil no longer sells 4* recipes. Which will make getting into Emberlight a bit disappointing, since this means we must buy the regular items from Kozma and level them.

This seems to be a bug to me, hence I'm filing this post in the Bug Report forum. Please let me know if this is a bug or not, and if it's not, I'll move this to the Suggestions forum.

I'm just glad I got Khorovod and the Graviton Bomb recipes before that update.

Note: no bug here, and my friends and I have just been unlucky (very, very unlucky), hence moving this to the Suggestions forum; please see the second reply to this thread for a suggestion.

Thanks!

Greetings, Tier 2 Basil

Greetings,
Tier 2 Basil still sells 4* recipes.

Basils selection is a random assortment of 2-4 star recipes, but there is guarantee there will be four star recipes. Just to make sure I went down to tier two Basil and his recipe selection for me is 9 four star recipes, 6 three star recipes, and 6 two star recipes. You could get a different selection, it is random :D

I know that it's random, but

I know that it's random, but my friends and I have been rather unlucky I suppose, for several runs, so we were worried. If there's a way to get Basil to spawn at least one 4* recipe each time, it would be less frustrating and, I believe, not game-breaking, but of course I could be wrong. Thank you for the quick response and confirming that he hasn't given up on us casual, slower players.
