When i launch spiral knights through steam, when it loads to the login screen, instead of a login with steam, all i get is a login using guest instead. Anyone knows how to get back the 'login with steam' checkbox back. Or at least how i can login using my steam account?

I just wanna say taht your suggestion helped. by restarting STEAM I managed to loggin even tho I was experiencing the same problems as Lunaticdrive

i'm on a mac and dont know whats going, ive defraged the files and identified the cache, but still it wont run, i dont know what else to do. please help

Verifying the game cache via Steam might actually be checking against an old version of the game.
Your best bet is to uninstall the game completely, and reinstall a fresh copy.
Does restarting Steam help at all?
Have you tried uninstalling Spiral Knights, and then reinstalling it through Steam? Steam should remember your login information, even if your SK installation is weird.
