Mentioned in my other thread but felt this was deserving of it's own..

Perhaps with a fee at a vendor you can select the weapon / shield and make predetermined sections of it your own personal colour.

As an obvious example - The glowing line around the Divine Avenger / Gran Faust.

Clearly with some items (Snarbolax token rewards) the theme is clear and better not to be tampered with. However, as I'm sure a lot of you know that when switching between a Brandish and a Barbarous Thorn Blade you get the glow from the Brandish for a couple seconds, perhaps this glow could be your personal colour.

Brandish to Barb switch Glow

Well the sword used to switch

Well the sword used to switch to the barb was a Voltedge so the glow would be blue yes.

I was just giving an example of what it could look like.

I'd like this.

It'd be like bringing back the sealed sword's green glow, and putting it on a divine avenger, or having a Blue divine avenger.
It'd also be pretty cool not seeing 'Cut my wrist into pieces" snarby blood red everywhere, but seeing a vast variety of colored spikes.

I like it for the most part, but there seems to be such a little variety of things this would effect. Might be too much trouble for nothing.

Hm...

One issue I'm seeing with this is that someone with a violet personal color could recolor their DA to look like a GF, or vice-versa, but more variety would be nice I suppose.
