Charge is key!

The only real difference is the charge attacks, BTB is a spread blast of thorns, FF is a high damage, charging attack.
(BTB line recipes are majorly overpriced on the AH also!)

I heard FF's first attack is more powerful than the BTB's..Is it true?

They're the same, except for the charge attack. Neither weapon has an amazing charge attack but I do like FF's a bit more. It can do a lot of damage and has a nice reach.

I think it is for tightly

I think it is for tightly packed groups. I'd always thought it wasn't really much different than the regular combo, but I think it's faster and does more damage than a combo. There's an earlier post by a guy that has a bunch of shadow lair videos that shows a really good use of a FF charge attack in the second SL snarby video.

This is the link to the post.

And here's the video link, the charge attack is at 12:00.

If you have one upgrade it

If you have one upgrade it, if you don't have either, get a FF. The only reason for this is that it is easier to get.

Personally, I have a twisted snarble barb, which is great, and will upgrade it when the time comes. Since I have not yet owned, or used a flourish, I will not be going that route.

Bopp's link gives a great answer.

Final Flourish

I like the Final Flourish over the BTB.

The main reason though is aesthetics. FF on all graphics settings has this awesome streak-effect type thing, and generally looks shiny. People tell me BTB has the same effect if you set graphics to high, but that makes my laptop melt.

Also, I find the FF charge attack is more precise. I only ever use it on Trojans, and I find its easier to hit with the three hit FF combo, instead of the BTB shotgun spray.

And finally, the holo-snarby makes me lag xD

They are both the same but if

They are both the same but if you have to choose one I would suggest getting a final flourish. Why? because people rage craft flourishes which mean they will be lower in price AND some have uvs already. This way you can get a cheap and uvs weapon without running snarby and paying 20kcr for uv rolls.

I don't like how the FF

I don't like how the FF charge makes you suicidally lunge half a screen forward. I prefer backstep charge attacks, like the BTB, for the defensive value.

Yeah, FF's charge only really

Yeah, FF's charge only really safe to use on stuff you can beat easily anyway (excepting Trojans, heard it's great for those) . The snarble line's ranged charge attack gives better options, imo.

My own opinion

I personally like BTB line aesthetics better, and I have a snarble barb too, so I'm gonna go for the more expensive of the two.

If anyone finds a twisted snarble barb recipe from Basil, buy it and contact me to re-sell.
Ill pay up to 8k. (A little less than AH)
