Defense-wise, which do you think is a better armor?

Please, I really need some advice.

Cobalt will net you defense

Cobalt will net you defense against Beasts, Jellies and spike hazards, but won't get any bonuses. Neither of those monster families are particularly dangerous, so other sets are generally better.

Angelic will gear you for Fiends and Undead enemies, covering the ever-annoying Devilites should you go to levels that contain them. However, the main Angelic line has both resists and a Fire weakness, that latter of which being a common status. The Fallen branch switches the Fire weakness and Curse resist, but also changes the Fiend bonus into a downside for ASI Swords: Low. Fallen may be more to your liking if you're planning to do FSC a lot.

ummm

why not start a new line like the magic line or the wolver line cause wolver is the same as cobalt expect with extra damage bounes and the 5 star version of the magic series can have both elemental and shadow protection[ or u can stay with the original grey feather series[ elemental and normal]

Trust me im skolver with a divine mantle
Oh tsu now i get your point but why not get a swiftsrike then

@ Tsubasa

"Then I can gun and sword anything I like into little itty-bitty pieces..."

Lol, as long as none of that "anything" is a fiend...

Also, is OP trolloling? This seems like a silly question. By the way, the answer to the OP is "C. None of the above."

Actually...

I stay as far away from any Fiends... using the Slug to keep them away... its FAR more safe... ;3

Fallen and can't get up

Question for Tsu, out of genuine curiosity, and not trolling-

Given that ASI doesn't do much for bombs, how does the Fallen set compare to one piece each of Vog and Nameless?

Heh....

Its like having a piece of Vog, and a piece of nameless... Med ASI to swords, Med ASI to guns, and you can drop your bombs faster... ;3

Its prolly not enough to warrant huge curse weakness AND major damage drop to fiends... Perhaps they should boot it up to High ASI... total...
