Why don't lumbers get hurt by rocket puppies?

Well perhaps in the Mk-Vii model there may be some lumbar support. Preferable adjustable lumbar support for all body types.

I can only imagine how much it would hurt to take a rocket to the lumbar.

/wink

Lumbers are never affected by map hazards, which I suppose counts as friendly fire. Not even an exploding block does damage to them.

Hm...

If I'm not mistaken, Lumbers are not affected by Curse either. They can be cursed, but they won't take damage because of it.

Like a Baws.

It isn't affected by the graviton/electron suction.

it is, but only on Bomb and Vortex grade. It's too big to be affected by the Charge versions, like Lichen colonies.

Are they not? Normallly I wouldn't notice, but I guess their just special enemies :P On the other hand, it may just be me in T3, but do Lumbers seem to have no charge timefor their attacks anymore? as in theres no hesitation when they attack?

@Mew-Kat

You know what they say...

Sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
Since lumbers are what I classify as sufficiently advanced technology (sentient gear-trees seems to fit the bill) therefore they can also be classified as magic trees.
Magic trees are not affected by curses or friendly fire.

Case closed.

Also, the suction from 3* and 4* vortex bombs is too weak to suck them in.
However, 5* vortex sucks in ERRYTHING

Sadly, this technology is still in it's early stages in SK and only lumbes are equipped with a prototype model of it.

^^^ Yes, the trees that they

^^^

Yes, the trees that they are made from grew from rocket soil. Rocket soil is ground up rockets mixed thoroughly with dirt and compost. It makes the wood highly resistant to missiles. Oh, and they also put holy soil in there, to give curse resistance.
