Just note if you are revived by someone else you lose 30% of your own heat.
So basically the longer you are not revived the more heat you'll lose when someone else revives you, technically.

Yes
Alot of established players will be willing to donate heat to you after runs where the potential is there to /suicide and let you rev them. I always donate heat to someone who asks if I'm not heating anything which is like 98% of the time.

Derp, my post was kinda in response to Trapzter's yes.
In any case, a detailed breakdown
Die > Party collects heat > heat is still accumulated > you get it when you revive, but 30% of the heat you would have in total would be given to the reviver unless you CE rev
TL;DR: Yes.
