Hello.

I am using an aspire 5830TG with 6 GB of Ram, Windows 7, Intel Core i5 2450M processor running at 2.50 and 2.50 Ghz. I have an Nvidia GeForce 540M video card with 1 GB of RAM on it.

When trying to play Lockdown as soon as I leave the main base, the graphics take a huge drop in framerates. Everything changes so that all I can see are characters blinking from place to place, and soon I die, and am back in the base. I have tried a few things, but have no idea why this is the case, since the game itself runs perfectly fine.

I have the Nvidia Control Panel set up as well, and was wondering if there was a way to set it so it applies the full power of the card to this game when it's running. Usually this requires me to point it at a certain .exe file on my computer. Is there such a thing for this game? If not, what file would I indicate?

And if this is not what I need to do, then can someone suggest reasons lockdown runs so horribly for me?

I'm pretty sure it a connection issue but try this:
Change the Display Mode to it's minimum value.
Disable Fullscreen
Set Graphics Quality to Low
Under the Edit Advanced button:
Enable Compatibility Mode
Enable Cull Transients
Make sure Antialiasing Level is set to 1x

There is no .exe file for this game. The file you need is getdown-pro.

Where would I find this

Where would I find this "getdown-pro" file? Also, I'll try your suggestions. I had been running with low graphics at the time, but it didn't seem to have any effect.

You have win 7?
Just write that in the search bar of the explorer.
