Invisible bullets in Lockdown

I don't see any topic on the first page specifically addressing this, so here goes. Your own bullets are currently invisible to yourself in Lockdown. They seem to be dealing damage just fine, and show up on other people's screens, so it's not game-breaking, but it is pretty annoying. One of the things I use to help lead my shots is observing where the current bullets are, and without this visual cue it's slightly more difficult. I suspect it was a side effect of yesterday's update; hopefully it's easy to fix.

On a side note, in Heart of Ice yesterday it seemed like my party and I kept getting hit by invisible ranged attacks (no lag, in case anyone is wondering). I wasn't able to confirm this definitively, so it may have been a fluke or bad luck.

Sounds like your own game is faulty and doesnt display some projectiles.

uh

Juances, it's true.

Most of us people are having the same problem, ask around for Lockdown players.
(STRONG NOTE: IT'S BULLET ARE NORMAL IN CLOCKWORKS)

The bullets of every shot from handguns will just disappear at the character pointblank, however it still can count hitbox, without a lead.

So, yeah, it's a bug, in Lockdown.

What about the second part. Too much coincidence then?

@Juances

The rest of my party experienced the same general feeling (we've run together before, and pretty much never been in danger of wiping in HoI previously), so it certainly wasn't just me. However, since I did not have any clearly memorable instance of being hit by an invisible projectile, I only noted it as a suspicion, in hopes that others may have experienced something similar and report their findings here. The LD bug certainly was a client-side phenomena, so this could definitely be a sister problem.

I'll probably graveyard this tonight after I've seen the new patch results.

@the second issue I also had

@the second issue

I also had that issue the first time (or two) that I played Heart of Ice. I couldn't figure out why I was randomly being hit. Now that you reminded me of that bug I believe it is actually becaues those floating exploding orbs turned invisible. I doubt the devs will see the issue here, but it is probably worth creating a new thread for it.

Hmm, invisible orbs?

Woah, that would explain a lot of things. I remember the first time I played HoI it was a miserable experience. Although that reminds me, there seems to have been a stealth patch in the first week or so after HoI was released, reducing the number of those orbs. When I first encountered the version of the opening room of the first floor, where there are the chain-whips and gates (with a switch in the center that you have to hit while standing on the pressure plate to advance), the orbs spawned nonstop and I could barely go 3 seconds without having one of them try to cuddle up to me. Now, I barely see any until the final fight on the second floor.

If you have a clear firsthand experience of getting nailed by an invisible orb, put it up in Bug Reports, Nordlead. I haven't empirically confirmed that it was invisible orbs, so I don't really feel comfortable making that claim at this moment.
