how this will work is that when every someone from outside the guild uses a function of the guild , such as acution house or training hall not beds and chairs they will pay a little to the guild treasury .

acution house: 50% of a players spendings to set up their sell is given
alchemy room: 50% of their crafting money goes to the guild
mist well: players can purchase mist from them at the same price as the current market(decimals are rounded up to the nearest whole number)
training hall: 1% cr is taken from the player for every use or change of teirs
coliseum room: 1%
accesory room: 1%

i think this would really help small guilds like my pay the upkeep, also if i wasn't clear enough the player won't notice the acution house or the alchemy room

This is similar to a different MMO I used to play...the thing is, in that game...there was no reason to limit currency inflation.

I'm sorry to say that I don't really like this idea.

In theory, it's a great idea.

The problem is, however, that the crowns aren't all being sunk. The whole function of the Mist Well is to sink crowns. You're effectively limiting, at least to some extent, that crown sink.

Which, in effect, is actually generating crowns. You might not think it, but thousands of crowns could easily be generated from this suggestion. Anyone who crafts a 5* item generates 2500 crowns out of thin air for the Guild Hall.

@Severage

it's not everyday someone crafts a 5* item and highly unlikely to be in your guild(seeing the number of open guild halls is over 200) , and we don't even have a functional room, and it won't cause infalation cause you can't take cr out of the guild teasurey and the cheapest items you can buy is like 17k

@Aotr:

In fact, every day, multiple people craft 5* items. Lots of people, probably, given how many people are in Spiral Knights.

To help out their friends, or their own guild, they'd only craft in that Hall. 2500 CR per person, potentially hundreds per day, that will affect the sink.

" and it won't cause infalation cause you can't take cr out of the guild teasurey "

That's totally irrelevant. You're minimizing the amount of crowns that people will need to donate to the Hall, and minimizing the amount of crowns sunk in the game. Because you're generating crowns.

You're thinking on too small of a scale. Sure, your guild may only get 5K~10K from it per week, but what if all private guild halls got about 5K~10K per week? And public Halls would likely get much more than 5K~10K. You could at least get a hundred thousand crowns generated out of thin air every week.

You're just negating the crown sink.

Sorry Aotr

He is right.

Large guilds could form a quick and easy alliance. You could very easily see two of the largest guilds with the most upkeep costs working together. Such as Jempire and Echo of Silence agreeing to do all Auction House transactions, Mist welling, alchemizing, and accessorizing in one another's guilds. This combined with increasing guild size to maximum would result in quite the treasury free money for both. Thus, you'd take arguably the BIGGEST CURRENT CROWN SINK ON THE GAME (the upkeep on these two guilds) and drastically decrease them. Not to mention jempire would then have both guidls, minions of jempire and jempire's waiting lists crafting in the main guildhall.

It would just be yet another way in which the rich got richer and the poor got poorer.
--Or a guildmembers could leave their guild whenever they wanted to use one of these features, get free crowns, and then join right back up. Too easy to exploit this idea.
