This is less a suggestion, and more of a request to the developers. I am thinking of setting up a leader-board site (completely independent from the main SK sight) that will list things like prestige, Lock down points and levels completed. Pretty much a way for players to see who is the best of the best in each category. So my request to you developers is to allow me (or any player) a way to find all of this information. For now, im going around and asking every player individually their prestige value and making a list, which is taking a very long time. i will also start up a LD leader board, so again i will have to ask each player individually for their value. Another problem lies in when i start to make a leader board for Guild Lock Down. Unless they are on the top 10, there is no way for a guild to see how much points they have, and i want to make the board with as many guilds as possible, not just the top 10. And the other boards i want to make allow no way for me to acquire this information in-game. So again, my request is to either somehow allow this information to be more easily spread in-game or give me the information personally (without breaking player privacy contracts).

i have also started a forum post getting my prestige leader board ready, which can be found
here

Leaderboards can be easily faked and don't show any actual skill, just how much free time or luck you have.

LD score is about how matches you were able to play. If the worst players ever spends 24/7 online, he'll have more points that thet best one that only logs in 3-4 hours a day.

Levels completed? T1 is not the same as T3..... and again someone that spends all day playing RJP isnt better than someone that does SL once in a while.

Prestige only displays how many prestige missions you care to do. Same 'issues' again. Just because you do those boring repetitive missions daily means nothing.

So yeah, I hate Leaderboards and statistics.

+1/-1

I would love to have time based leaderboards for danger missions, shadow lairs and boss levels.

But -1 for LD, prestige or levels completed leaderboards.

saying that a leader board can be faked isn't enough reason to not have one. With any unofficial ranking system, it is up to the viewer to take the data in with a grain of salt, knowing that it is UNofficial. And although it is true that those that play the game more would be higher up on the board, that is kinda th point of a leader board; to show who has the time and patience to play the game enough to get their name noticed. I guess it's partly my fault for poor choice of words, saying the "Best of the best". But you have to admit, no matter how much time someone invests in a game, if they play poorly, their scores will reflect as such. I will separate each Tier into different categories, so as to not allow people who spam runs T1 to get above someone who is honestly slaving away on T3 floors. The Privilege of these boards being on an independent site, and not part of the actual game means that I have the opportunity to go in depth with each category, without it seeming excessive and getting in the way of the game.

And besides, most people (at least I do) use leader boards as less of a way to show off, and more of a way to see how they are fairing statistics wise. So collecting as much data as I possibly can and displaying it for each player is very important.

priorities

Balance the game first, then worry about scoring.
