Have class mods apply bonuses or penalties to health 1) after factoring in the total health including bonuses granted by Heart Pendants, and 2) apply those bonuses/penalties based on a percentage.
Example (numbers may be adjusted for balance)
Guardian shield: +100% health bonus (doubles health)
Recon cloak: +80% health bonus
Striker booster: -20% health penalty
Percentage-based health bonuses/penalties in LD

it is an interesting way to deal with the use of health trinkets in Lockdown, because the class bonus is plus/minus hearts, not percentage
then the Guardian will have the health that deserves while the Striker will be able to increase, but in reduced amount
just remember to put a reasonable value, or trinkets of health will become the immortal Guardian
another way is to block the use of these trinkets, but already uses will feel uncomfortable
I'm ok with the concept, but doubt those percentages.
Well, best way to know wich numebrs to use is opening test server....
