I would like this feature because I can't always keep track of what I put in which weapon slot and that could be handy to know in the middle of battle. The currently selected weapon has a little highlight so you can know what's getting selected when pressing the next and previous buttons.
This'd be in OOO's best interest because I'm sure I can't be the only one derping with this and it'd encourage me to sustain more weapon slots if this was added.
I'd repositon health next to energy, so it mirror vials in a clean way.
Maybe a total remake of the hud.

I propose removing the Hear Icon entirely. It doesn't really serve a purpose, and could be better put to use as the Vita-slot IMO. Then the weapon slots have a clean-view on top of the Health Bar.

That's be nice. Also, if the current weapon highlighted or something then I'd know in a flash what weapon I need to switch to in the middle of a Lockdown match.

@psycho I wouldn't be particularly happy to see the heat icon disappear..maybe shift it on to the right side of the screen under mission objective?

He was talking about the heart icon that serves no purpose whatsoever, not the heat gauge.
very nice, but i do agree on moving the heart or heat i con to make a little room
move vials to 7-8-9-0, and put weapon hotkeys on 1-2-3-4. (I play starcraft, can you tell?)
Maybe not exactly like that, it takes up a little too much space. but +1 regardless.
