Does Supernova line pulsar counter turret well?

I am planning to upgrade my pulsar to Heavy Pulsar, just wondering if the Supernova line pulsar counter the turret as good as the Polaris line pulsar? Does the lack of shock makes it unable to interrupt the turret attack?

Thanks

An answer.

No. The Polaris is better than the Supernova against Turrets because:
Turrets are weak to elemental damage. The Polaris gives elemental damage. The Supernova does not. Therefore, the Polaris will do more damage on turrets.

Shock may interrupt the turret's attack. The supernova inflicts no status effects. The Polaris inflicts shock.

Overall, the Polaris is better than the Supernova at killing Turrets.

Supernova will still

Supernova will still interrupt, but Polaris will do better since its Shock/Elemental.

Polaris does better against most turrets.
Against polyps, supernova does better since shock only deals a bit more damage, and supernova does more then enough damage to counter that.
And against enemies, shock doesn't cancel most attacks. People can't seem to get their heads round that.

EDIT:Correction made

...

shock does cancel some monster's charge attack, not all. Almirian crusader and mecha knights are good examples.

OK
Point is, it doesn't stop turrets attacking. Rotating yes, but most people attack turrets head-on, so that doesn't help

Yes

Yes it does cancel turrets attacks, but only with 2-3 fast consecutive shots, which need to be over halfway of their max range so that they expand and explode. Not that that's a problem since you won't be shooting turrets at point-blank range with a gun anyways. When the (exploding!) pellets hit it will cancel them attacking, works on other enemies too when done right.
