Best way to farm up Black Kat tokens (IMO)

So as the title says, it is to explain what I feel is the most effective way to receive these tokens.
step 1) start the daily mission for tokens
step 2) reach the end of the final mission
step 3) Press esc
step 4) press they "return to haven" button
step 5) Repeat steps 1-5 in same order

By doing step 4 you don't officially completed the mission so it allows you to replay it and re-encounter levels that are pron to having black kats like the candle stick keep levels and other ghost based levels.
Just wanted to let the community know about this.

So after reading the "black kat fact" thread I disided I would bring a way to still get a book for all four in the party.
step 1) find book
step 2) have entire party go solo
exploitation for 2) By going solo you bring the material(book) on the ground with you to the new solo level this way everyone will have a book on them.
step 3) repeat at each possible moment.

Or just go to Weight of Darkness or Alone in the Dark and just do the first depth over and over.

They're ranked missions too so you don't have to worry about locking prestige.

The only difference is that Weight of Darkness is Poison-themed while Alone in the Dark is Shock-themed.

That is a good point Glacies,

That is a good point Glacies, but I still prefer the daily mission version as they, form my experiences, have black kat styled battle areas that always have one making it function as a garented token gain.

I'm pretty sure by not completing the mission, you are not entitled to the rewards of the mission, which are the tokens themselves.

Yes you may find black kats on the way.
No, you basically wasted 30 energy without receiving the rewards of the mission.

You do not receive the 3 from completing the mission but it still will provide you with them from the black kat mobs in it. The only down side is you don't get heat on the final level.

Regarding the Book from this event. If all party members are present when the book drops, they each receive the book when someone picks it up (Like crowns). However Nick recently made a statement saying that it was a bug and that it should be randomly distributed to one player (Like other materials/item drops) and not given to all members of the party.

I'm just not sure if they put in the fixes yet from the recent reboot... so it looks like if you want the book for yourself, your going to have to play alone or guildmates/players you trust with some arrangement I guess.

I thought the kats int he prestige mission don't actually drop the tokens. Since you're supposed to get them as rewards. So if you quit early don't you get nothing? I know I've done two prestige missions and found one cat elsewhere, for a total of 11 pages. If the black kats in the prestige were also dropping pages, I'd have much more than that.

I think the OP means there are chances to find kats before you get to the last depth. But either way, Glacies has a better method.

You find a whole bunch of Kats there, especially in Stratum 5.

The fixed kats in the prestige mission don't drop pages, but you can meet random ones there.

Since the first floor is Candlestick, replaying that mission over and over isn't all that bad, but since 8-1 is guaranteed poison it's a lot easier.

You can speed up the process by soloing (means mobs have fewer health) and load SK from a Solid State Disk.

You can also farm it in such a way that things become more predictable (hence you tend to die less) so you can make enough income to break even with the energy you spent on elevator.

Aside of these, there is no trick to this BK event. It's just pure grinding and blind luck, and who has the most friends with benefit.
