Hey all, a few days ago I've left my guild for reasons I'm not specifying here, however I've kept some people from there as friends. They are all people that I like to talk with often, however I'm having a hard time doing so, especially when I want to talk to multiple people about the same topic. That's why I'm proposing the "Friends Chat".
The idea is simple, a chat similar to the guild chat, but done using the "/friend" or "/friends" command. When doing that a message is sent to each and every one of your online friends, which would be really useful when looking for party members, or to have a group chat with your friends, even if they are in different guilds.
However, I understand that sometimes a knight can have a ton of active friends, some of which he may not want to involve in the chat. How to fix it? Simple, right-clicking a friend in the social menu would bring up the usual menu, but with a new option: "remove from friends chat/ add to friends chat". By default all of your friends would be included in your friends chat, but when selecting the "remove" option, those friends won't recieve any of your messages sent through the friends chat, although you would still recieve theirs.
Do you agree? If not, feel free to express your opinion!
good idea.
