Hey everybody! What's up!?!
If you haven't already noticed, bombs can only be used when charged. And now, since the new tutorial has been added, everyone is aware of that.
Well, I think this needs to change. (Not the awareness part, the bomb part!)
Now don't get me wrong, I'm no try hard player trying to make bombs overpowered, I prefer handguns. But I think that its a bit unfair that bombers have to charge up every time they want to attack. I mean come on, if your getting swarmed by enemies and your shield is down, then trying to charge up a bomb isn't going to help much.
Now I only own one 5* bomb, so I'm not calling myself an expert, but when I use it, I think, hey, this would be a WHOLE lot better if I could place smaller bombs like the gremlin demos do.
SOOOOOO...
I have a crazy idea! (Well its not really crazy, but it just adds to the effect). Let's allow bombers to place uncharged bombs!
Let me clarify that for you:
Players are allowed to drop only a certain amount of uncharged bombs at a time, amount varying depending on bomb. e.g. Nitronome - Uncharged: 3 uncharged bombs, Venom Veiler - Uncharged: 5 uncharged bombs.
Uncharged bombs would be weaker then when they are charged up
Uncharged bombs would have a smaller blast radius then their charged form, size depending on bomb. e.g. Shivermist Buster - Uncharged: Quite small blast radius, Big Angry Bomb - Uncharged: Moderate blast radius.
Uncharged bombs would have a smaller fuse, allowing bombers a variety in timing and access to quick detonation.
Uncharged bombs can be placed in succession quickly but not too fast. Maybe half a second after one another. Any less then that may be considered as spamming.
(EDIT) Once you've used up the amount of bombs at a time, e.g. 3 uncharged nitronomes in succession, you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can bomb again. (Maybe 3 seconds or so). Even if you change bombs you still can't bomb until the 3 second is up.
So yeah, hope you like the idea, feel free to post your opinion. Maybe this will get implemented.
Cheers,

This is exactly how uncharged bombs used to work. It was found to be overpowered but I believe that was mostly with old shard bombs.
