I think that any shield should be able to costume any other shield.

This may not be as good of an idea, but it could be cool if any weapon of the same type should be able to costume that weapon. Like flourish/snarble barb, the cailbur line, the troika line etc... would all be their own "type" so that you can't costume a flourish with a troika or something silly like that.

That might be a little too complex, but I mean, we do have certain armors that can only be outfitted with certain accessories. It could work something like that.

I think at least the shield costumes make sense. :T

What do you guys think?

Some weapons are kinda smilar (a calibur and a brandish) But imagine using a troika as a flourish O_O

Shield, Check yes.

I'm all for a shield costume. It shouldn't deter from game-play in any way, since the only one who's going to be using the shield is you yourself; it's just more decoration to everyone else, so why not decorate better?

For example, I always want to wear Vog + Dragon Scale, but I know that Dragon Scale is a relatively BAD shield for anything but C42 Danger mission.

Weapons... I'm a little less quick to add.
Perhaps a weapon ornament slot would be a sheathed weapon, on the back for big swords, and on the belt for guns, bombs, etc. I'd definitely not want my Flourish looking like a Troika; that would be just plain weird.

Shield costumes are not unreasonable. However, weapon costumes would be an issue in PvP since it would be excessively confusing if someone rushed up at you carrying what looked like a Cold Iron Vanquisher, and actually turned out to be a Gran Faust. There are reskins currently available, but at least you can be certain that they will be what they are, instead of a different weapon that just happens to look like that because of weapon costumes.

Lockdown already disables armor costumes. I would assume weapons would behave the same way.
