There's many problems with PvP, but there's some that just should be fixed ASAP (tested them too and all facts):
range-range visually is shorter than what the game says and what i meant by that is that you like program that FF has a range of like 4 blocks but visually in game FF is 3.5 blocks which doesn't even make sense.....

hits registering-lets take GF as a example. the 1st hit is a horizontal, and lets say someone is directly in front of you, when you swing your GF (left to right) the second you move your hand, you take dmg even though visually the sword didn't hit you

camera-if your under someone (2D wise) and you see head to toe, then that means the person above you doesn't even see you at all

Range - It gets even worse than that. 2* flourish and Snarble Barb are only like 1.5 blocks long, but they still have the same 4-block hitbox. :/

Hit Timing - This is a problem, but only if you have a good connection. Even so, it would require too much coding, most likely. It would be great if it happened, though. :)

Camera - How would you have it then? Full 3D? Can't do that, this game has hidden incomplete textures. Top-down? No thanks.

What's the connection that you're playing on like?
I play with 1-bar and rarely do swings that actually connect with the enemy's hitbox rarely actually hit. This is likely your problem

it's the opposite problem

He's talking about how the game instantly registers anything in the hit range of the sword as being hit at the exact time the swing starts, instead of being updated in real time with the motion of the sword.

i play with 4 bars :P. also,

i play with 4 bars :P. also, im not asking for a 3D view, im just saying that they should make both bottom and top have the same view because when your above someone and someone is below you, you cant tell if there gonna come up on your left or right, while if someone on the top attack you while your on the bottom, you can tell where there going go, so you can just striker boost around that attack and hit them back which is unfair

You can't really change the whole bottom view issue. If you fixed it, then the whole game would be a sky view of your knight, rendering the game not as appealing.

Trinkets for PvP

They need trinkets for pvp that buff the class. Like a trinket that gives you one sec extra of striker booster and others like that.

Learn to interpret the hitboxes. This is a game, not everything has to be realistic.

It doesn't have to...

but it would make it more accurate and competitive if it actually behaved the same as it looked.

I'd rather OOO change the looks of it, I like t2 LD as is. btw, what are we considering to be blocks? Because from what I've seen the flourish hitboxes are about 2.5. If it's getting up to four or so it's probably lag. Also, there's a "wind" effect that more accurately represents the hitbox on lower flourish levels. Lastly, I don't feel that all the hitboxes have to necessarily match up perfectly to the visuals for the game to be competitive. Many, many games require the player to learn to interpret what an attack does and where. The animations aren't usually that outrageously out-of-sync, and players can easily use them as guidelines off which to base the actual hitbox.

Also, about the stealth-below-the-camera thing, I'd consider that a feature, not a problem. Though it's not really feature I think should be in there, there are better ways of giving positional advantages.
