This question will be geared mostly towards Seiran if he sees this but...

I was wondering how some people were able to do a "slash and stall, then 2nd slash" thing in lockdown. The person basically slashes with a heavy sword (let's say a triglav), brings the sword back, and then releases a 2nd slash. It's not the same as a full combo (trust me, I know).

I remember Seiran doing the same trick repeatedly on my in LD with recon+Crown of the Fallen set+Triglav. He explained to me the basics of the set and attacks, but I cannot recall them at the moment. Can I have a little help?

You're probably thinking of

You're probably thinking of shield canceling. It's simple, all you have to do is very quickly shield after the first slash and you will repeat the first slash as the second hit of your combo. Works for every sword.

You might be thinking of the delayed second stroke? You swing the first stroke, and keep the attack button down, as if to begin charging. But then you release the attack button after a short delay, before the charge is ready, resulting in a second stroke.

You attack, keep holding the button, and then release it a bit later. Do it too late and you just do the first attack again.
