Give more reason to use the normal heavy swords.

So, as we know it, the only reason to use the normal damage heavy swords over the Specialized normal split, is the prescence of status efects, right? The specialized ones not only swing faster, deal more damage, and have great charge attacks, but they also have just as much range.

Well well... as many of you know, the Triglav and Sudaruska are physically larger in size. On that note, how many of you would be OPPOSED to increasing the range by 30%. This means it will hit a bit farther than its tip, effectively making it the largest swing in the game.

"But Diamond!! Why not just give it a simple damage/interrupt buff and be done with it!?"

Because, I believe these swords should be the crowd control option to the sealed sword lines. To justify, I propose also increasing the chance to apply status on the second swing. Now, large swing + reliable status = a large reliable crowd control heck-of-a-sword that looks badass.

Suggestion concluded.

I would give the basic swings for the manliest sword line interruption immunity while swinging as well.

There are always those unexpected flying paper airplanes that stop you from swinging a massive throbbing e- slab of rock somehow.

True~ I dont see how gravity

True~ I dont see how gravity could agree with the sudden stop as either.

The FF has near equal range as Suda/Trig, why? Has the air pressure changed so dramatically for Flourishes that it creates a wave of air pressure that allows extra range? NO. That is why it has less range than Suda/Trig, but why does it interrupt? Seriously, you are swinging a tiny piece of sharpened steel at a mountain. Oh look! you managed to parry it out of the way and can resume attacking!

I have one phrase to describe this:

WHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHATWHAT.......WHAT?!?!?!?!?.........thank you.

seriously though, even if Flourishes are meant to parry the attacks, its quite ridiculous that it can parry everything, I mean, to be rational, it should be slowest swords getting interruption priority. Cutters, oh poor cutters, what will you do? GET RID OF FREAKING INVINCIFRAMES THAT'S WHAT YOU'LL DO!!!! then everything can be restored to balance.........hopefully

Superior shockwave!

Slow, heavy sword gets swung in your direction! Oh that paper airplane hit them? Oh nvm lol, no super hard damage for you then, just try ag- AHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH stun-lock!

Seriously, interruption resist on slow, heavy swords should be the way to go.

I'm of the belief the KB/damage has a well-deserved buff too, but area of effect on them works for me.

Makes sense. I like it,

Makes sense. I like it, though a damage boost would still be greatly appreciated. Also, interruption resists would be GREAT. Dangit gravity, why won't you work right?

Great idea. My Jalovec and I will soon be best friends. How about adding a bit more knockback to the sword's second swing?

Depends on the chance to stun...

If you can clear an entire Lockdown Control Point while standing outside of it and moving in with the 2nd slash, and it stuns...

Dunno. Seems kind of annoying.

Though suda has no chance of stun on the 2nd swing, I feel it should.

Yes, Exactly. I think taking that long to swing deserves swee sweet rewards, such as this. Just pretend that they are as powerful as the toothpicks. There! Now it doesn't seem so farfeched right?

What if the ground cracks with stones coming out on each swing?
Or give it the WRH explosions to keep it simple.

I hate it when a sword hits distant targets with "magic wind".

JES

The ground bringing up large pillars of stone that meet chest-level. A great visual compensation to make up for the magical range, and to express the true POWER of this "almighty sword".

FF is pure piercing, so by virtue of that, is much less useful in the Clockworks for "All-Terrain" style fighting.

That's why Sudaruska's damage is so low. Bringing its damage up to par with a specific weapon (Some 30% damage buff) is a little excessive, even for Suda.

Honestly all normal weapons need a small buff though.

erm

so you are saying normal weapons are supposed to be inferior in comparison because they damage all enemies equally? FF has an advantage against fiends and beasts, therefore, the slow swords should be just as powerful as FF with neutral enemies. 30% Damage bonus im not sure about, but seriously, enough with the FF. I get that it is supposed to be fast because fiends and beasts are very utilized (invisibility, dash, perfect accuracy, teleport) but the attack cancel is ridiculous, especially when it comes to interrupting trig and suda. Bringing its damage up to par with not just a single weapon, but most weapons with damage covering for speed loss, is completely nessesary, well, considering that most enemy attacks can cancel suda's.

Also, suda needs to be able to stun on second swing like trig and its freeze. The only thing that suda should be even tied in terms of interrupt advantage is rocket hammer, because it is weight, and force, both measured by newtons, and quite equal if you think about it

Yes.

And our most recent comments have been slightly off from the original suggestion, which was not to buff Suda's damage.
