Yes. Noob gear is overpowered and should be nerfed. Why? Because it is unfair that a T1 player has Dmg Bonus Medium on Guns, it is far much than needed.
Oyeah! Flourish should have a range buff. Its range is too short for a rapier, you know. If you played any Dynasty Warriors games, you should be able to see the reality of Rapiers, they can lunge for 5-6 blocks if it was measured on Spiral Knights's scale.
What about the cyclops cap :(
