Here are some examples of players who are fun to fight because they actually have good tactics and mind games as opposed to striker polaris skolver. They also help put me in my place when rage takes over - which it will if you play too much!

Be on the lookout for these guys in LD, they're a good addition to the game.
* = new as of last update

Deoghee - Though he does have a clone outfit, he is a very smart player and has a wide variety of loadouts.
Leadmonkey - None can dominate with jelly armor like he can. The first person I'd give credit to excelling with the brandish.
Namewithnumbers - Started out as a vog with an AP and FF way back in the day. Guns more then he swords, good stuff.
Moppey - Hilarious - dominates with a FoV and biohazard these days. Silliest combo ever.
Redhawkone - Think i spelled that right... a Guardian Bomber who wins games, not damage battles.
Crustycrab - Rushes you like a football player. His agressive guardian style is pretty awesome.
Grugwasasailor - Guns with Australian latency... so good!
Uncosung - Strong hybrid style and a great sense of honor
Ramenfrog - A swordie recon that showed me the power of Nitronome
Nethrom - Makes me laugh every time we're in the same game
Zeddy -Triglav, Callahan, Venom Veiler. This combo is pure lolwin! Can't wait to see it in action
Neodasus - A veteran recon who took a break and came back. - likes to poke holes in yer back!
Tohlevi - Sharin da hazey love! Bombers so gud gurl.
*Soral - Good sense of honor and character, legit.
*Redblades - so good at channeling his inner Jempire he has reached super sayen 4.

Chime up if you can recall someone who excells with an unusual loadout or style. I'm sure I forgot a few... will update later.

I'm quite surprised

that this list doesn't include Zeddy. Here's a post he made:

He also managed 1k damage in T3 lockdown with only a Volcanic Pepperbox.

I do love unusuality.

Lead's definitely been a very fun person to face and I can definitely notice him.
Vanbamf, if I'm not mistaken, kicks butt with a wrench wand in T2.

I'm most definitely not impressive but I've been doing T2 with Jelly helm and elemental cloak along with cata, blaster, troika, and brandish lines. (Although I do use hammer and toothpick at times. :< )

Boom!

Deoghee left the game a good while ago. Although he never played this game seriously, he took any weapon and made it overpowering in every situation.

Noone can hazebomb like Tohlevi. He'll run into a fight, remember which target is weak to which haze. You'll get slowed down, shocked, set on fire and generally worn down until you die. Meanwhile, his ice queen set is immune to shock and as such he is mostly immune to his own medicine.

Good lord,

Do I miss Deoghee.

He was the only skolver clone that would take me on in a DVS fight. I didn't know the guy that well, but whenever I found him running around, cutting people up I would take a break from whatever I was doing just to spar.

So much fun.

So sad that so few people take the time to have FUN with the GAME.

Ah, LD

I know I'm terrible because I never change loadouts and something about LD just pushes my buttons, but when I did play I naturally went to Guardian.

After release, I came up using only Leviathan since it was the only 5 star sword I had for a while. As a guardian, everything about me was slow, but it was excellent training. Learning to focus on effective movement and point capturing gave me a very non damage, fly in the ointment style of play. Rushing points about to be captured and keeping it white until reinforcements arrive, turning enemy points solo in lonely parts of the map, these became my forte.

When I learned to us the Lev well enough to pwn with occasionally? Very satisfying.

Also, Duovit, Murderfaced and I used to rock Tier 1. I had a Super Stun Gun with ASI hi before it was cool and have never had so much fun taking forever to kill people.
