As a member of the Spiral Knights community I really want know Are we repeating the Hunter event? with the cat tail and other accessory? and are other promos coming back round like snip wings and others?

either way. If they want to recycle old things, be my guest. If they want to toss something new out there, that's fine too.
Just make it enjoyable.
maybe we'd stop getting 5 billion wolver clones if there was more variety to chose from. How that happens, up to OOO.

Hunter update? That's the one with the barf-green stuff...
The one that had the cat tails was the one where OOO revealed their truly wilde side- consisting of domestic cats and bunnies.
And eh, either could be repeated, but neither was so popular.

Personally, I would like the Aura to be re-released, the hunter recolors weren't that spectacular and people mainly cared about the aura (Also, there aren't many out there since people couldn't profit off the hunter costumes, not sure how auras there were but, it's really rare). Cat tails we're kinda cool I guess, I would be fine if they came back, extra Extra Vertical Vents.... Eh....

Personally, I don't care for repetition.
I like when people have unique promo items that date them to a specific time in the game's history (Groundbreaker Helms, Original Chapeaus, Cat Tails, Dragon Wings, Hunter Gear).
Unique items are like a reward for loyalty. It's a way of showing your tenure in the game and your support of the company during an earlier time.
When they rerelease things like the Halloween Masks or the Snowfall Aura, it makes the previous year completely obsolete for older players. It removes the rarity from the item and the sense of urgency that goes along with having to obtain an item in a limited time.
What's the point of obtaining an item if it isn't special or useful?
Instead of recycling old promos, there should be brand new, intriguing items available every single month to spur creativity in appearance.

...Those cat tails look dreadfully ugly, not to mention it looks nothing like a tail but a tentacle hanging out from someones bottom. Also, no comment on those rabbit ears, all that seems to be made in hours, like a rush to grab money.
Also I think the event had nothing to do with those cat tails and rabbit ears, they don't come from promotion boxes. You get one up on $10 ce purchase.

The events I would love to see are more of culturaly themed events. Of course I want to see these themes based on warrior cultures from various centuries.
In the case of recolors I would say I don't really care for them.

I wasn't there for: Dragon, Nemesis, Solstice, Surge, Hunter, Cakestrophe, Halloween
Was away from the game since January 2012 to November 2012
And I don't want them to return. These accessories are rare for a reason, if the promo comes back then all the cr/ce I wasted on my accessories is worthless and it will make me quit the game if they ever put Divine Valk wings and Divine Wolver Tail promo again.
I would simply go to Marvel Heroes beta until it launch and play Minecraft

Tentacles! I would totally go for tentacles. Little tentacle feet, or a back accessory.
But as for the topic of the thread, probably. After all, OOO does like to recycle.
