Not saying that I wanted this, but how the heck in the world is a pot have higher range than a gun?

Any explanations?

It's simple really.

A pot is a physical object, so once tossed it'll pretty much fly infinitely until it hits something.
Our guns shoot concentrated energy pellets, it should go without saying that this energy dissipates after a short distance.

I think the more important question here is; what keeps the pots flying?

The Biscopea. It is implanted into a Spiral Knight when they are just a recruit, and ideally between 10 and 14 years of age.
This small, circular organ is inserted into the chest cavity and releases hormones that vastly bolsters skeletomuscular development and density throughout the Knight's body. It also serves to form the hormonal basis for many of the later implants.

And the Vials. Don't forget that, given the chance, the Vials will fly off into the sunset for an eternity as well as pots.

Perhaps it's the desire to fly that allows them to have this inexplicable increased range?

@Thunder So does this means

@Thunder So does this means that knights have strong hands so they can throw pot and vials at a very high range?

Every single pot in cradle contains a magic, floating genie. It dies when the pot breaks, but if we were to look into the pots, they'd be there.

well, yes. we can wear plate armor and shield, and wield a sword that is 1.5 our size all toghether.
obviously, our weaponry is better than our strenght, way better, and that is why we can't use that on pots; we would destroy them.

Or the planet has low gravity (?)
Remember it's not Earth. I might be able to swing a giant sword with one hand on the moon too.

not sending someone 5 blocks away with the gigant sword.

you need gravity for that. and, if the pot does not go down by gravity, why are we?

so if it's because guns shoot energy...

What do you have to say about this?
