so, now that i am a champion (finally), i need some better swords.
at the moment i can use vana effectively and gain a decent amount of crowns in a week.
so, i thought i would treat myself with a nice 5* sword.
listed above are my current choices.
i have never really used the sealed and flourish/snarble line, and would like to try something new.
DA looks like fun, but seeing as i have a volt and WRH, that isn't the best choice.
GF would benefit me a lot, mainly because i'm getting tiered of using DR all the time, and i prefer swords over bombs and guns.
BTB is probably the best choice, because i have no piercing weapons what so ever. -_-
your thoughts on the matter?

the overal purpose of this thread was to see if i should choose fun (DA) over efficency (BTB/FF, GF).

Would you rather have fun and try whatever weapon you want or be a more efficient killer? We can't answer that for you.

I had DA and I can say you it isn't much fun at least for me. If you are doing Vana why would you take GF ? that wasn't fun for me either those 2 swords are too slow for me I went back to the Brandish line much better. BTB well a very good sword in my opinion but not much use in Vana.

We can't evaluate fun objectively. For me, the weapons that I use most are boring, and hence the other weapons are fun. For me, the slow swords (DA, GF, Suda, or Trig) and the fast swords (DVS and WHB) are more fun than the medium-speed swords. So you should try them at some point, if your goal is fun.

if you have no piercing weaps whatsoever, get that.
It'll be useful if you use it well.
You may find my detailed sword guide useful. Fiends are nasty, the piercing swords have an interesting lunging motion, and the piercing swords have a killer first swing (wide, not short, not slow). So they're quite nice. One of them (either Final Flourish or Barbarous Thorn Blade) would seem to be your best first choice. After that I would go for Gran Faust or Acheron.
