@Voza It's count to 5000 not post to 5000...
…which leads to some of the stuff I wanted clarified. I interpret “count to 5000” as listing the natural numbers (starting with the number one) in order till we reach 5000. Is this what you had in mind, Artistbma? Based on the way I interpret it, if someone double posted, then the second post would be ignored and the next person would post the next number and not skip a number. Similarly, I wouldn’t come and post the same number as my post number if the total count was ten numbers behind where it should be if everything had gone off without any hiccups.
This is why I brought up the skipped numbers that had not actually been posted by anyone. I wanted to know what everyone else thought should be done about them.
However, I don’t want to hijack your thread, Artistbma, and try and impose my own rules/interpretations. If my ideas are different from what you originally wanted or currently want, I will concede to what you want. After all, it is your thread, so you hold the power of deciding how this thread works :)

I think I'll add those numbers. I understand what you mean with us counting to 5000 and not posting to it. We'll start counting the uncounted numbers in a little bit, just to get them done. If any more uncounted numbers come after that, we could either keep another list of them, or we could backtrack a bit and count that number(s).
Also, you are correct in thinking if someone double posts, we would ignore the second post.
What I had originally had in mind was basic; count to 5000. But, it seems some people have forgotten what they learned in preschool, and as such, we can't have a simple counting thread.
PS: You've been a big help in the process of turning this thread back on the tracks, and I thank you for that.
